"Eh Em" a voice interupted us, I glanced at the person and noticed it was Aelia. My breath hitched in my throat just seeing her.
"Hi Aelia" Lex mumbled
"Class is about to start, can I have my seat now?" she questioned
"Oh shit, sorry. Ofcourse" Lex said as she got up. She waved at me before leaving. I smiled and returned the gesture
"Morning Aelia" I said sweetly
"Good Morning" she mumbled, I smiled to myself
"Aren't you gonna ask what was that all about?" I twisted, it was ridiculous that I wanted a reaction from her but could you blame me? I had no idea where we stood right now
"Why would I question that?" she said, her attention was still on the front of the class
"Because it's Lex, the girl you fought at practice because she looked at me strongly" I laughed
"I have no reason to assume you'd cheat on me" she mumbled
"So we're still together?" I smirked, she turned her gaze towards her covered canvas in his hands, ignoring my question
"So you do trust me?" I said, honestly I needed any excuse to hear her voice right now.
"Why wouldn't I?" she questioned, her eyes glanced towards me for a second. I bit my lip nervously as her fingers trailed along her canvas
"Are you ready for today's assignment?" I questioned. She remained silent and focused on the teacher. My eyes trailed along her face, I never noticed how perfect she was. Her strong pointed jaw gave her side profile a featured look. Her high cheekbones shaped her face perfect
"Would.you.stop.staring" she gritted through her teeth
"But you're beautiful" I smirked, I saw her roll her eyes but her cheek turned a slight shade of pink. Yes!
"Good Morning Class, there's no time to waste, this assignment is long overdue. Let's just start now and run through this" The teacher said as she walked back to her desk
"Mia Jackson" she said, Mia climbed out of seat and headed to the front of the class, she placed her canvas on the easle and revealed it. She started talking about its hidden meaning, unfortunately I wasn't paying attention because my eyes were on another gem
Mia's voice faded into the background as I stared at the beauty before me. I came to earth in search of a hobby. Instead, I found the person I want to spend eternity with. She's still soemthing I could do.
Aelia Green, the girl that captured my heart and soul. I belonged to her and I'd be damn if someone gets in between us. I need her, it's been too damn long without her. I honestly can't remember what it was like to live before meeting her.
"Thank you Mia for that explanation, next up is Luna Amon" the woman said. Aelia held her head down. I gave her one last glance before grabbing my covered canvas in the corner of the room. I placed it in the easle and turned to face the class.
I stood there before everyone, their eyes were on me expect the person I loved most. Dani gave me a smile and Mia showed a thumbs up. I exhaled releasing my nerves and pulled the cover off the canvas to reveal my painting.
"My assignment was to look into the soul of my partner Aelia Green" I said, the class turned to face Aelia before returning back to me
"It's no secret that Aelia and I didn't get off on the right foot at first, the tension and anger started by a stupid comment I said" I chuckled to myself
"We were always at each other's throat everyday, we got detention and it helped me to really get to know her. The next thing I knew, I was falling for Aelia" I said, a few 'aww' were heard from my classmates
"You get her girl!" Dani shouted from her seat. I chuckled before continuing
"Aelia was a completely different person just a few months ago, I'm sure everyone in this class knows that. She wasn't happy, her life was different from most people and she felt alone in the comfort in her own home. She lacked the love she deserved. Aelia had hatred in her heart and she took it out on the people she knew couldn't hurt her. Strangers." I said, my eyes were on Aelia throughout my speech, she finally brought her head up to look at me.
"Aelia and I started to work on our assignment everyday, as much as we bickered and fought. I felt us getting getting to know each other better. I slowly understood what made Aelia act the way she did. I could see the pain in her eyes that she kept to herself. One day Aelia looked at herself in the mirror and had a deep conversation with herself. She saw flaws that no one else could because it was internal. She fought herself and won. Aelia took a step back and picked up the pieces of herself that she needed. She faced challenges with herself. But she's never let anyone down, when she's passionate about something, she will stop at nothing to make it memorable" I said, I bit my bottom lip nervously as a tear escaped her eye. She wiped it quickly, refusing to let me see

"She transformed before my eyes into the person she is now. And even though she can be a headache. She's still the person I'll love forever. So my painting today reflects self love. It's something Aelia found within herself and it's what makes her happy. It's what keeps her going everyday, learning to love and accept herself. I'm so proud of her for everything she's achieved. And, her hair is blue in the painting because in kindergarten she saw a girl with blue hair and didn't know it was actually hair dye. So Aelia took blue paint and mixed it up in hair. Her parents were pissed but she felt on cloud nine because it was the first time she did something for herself" I smiled. The class erupted in claps. I glanced towards Aelia and noticed her face was in her palms.
"Thank you so much for that Luna. Have your seat, Aelia Green is up next" the teacher said. I took my painting and walked towards my seat next to Aelia. She finally pulled her face from her hands and I noticed her cheeks were stained with tears. Her breathing was heavy, she wiped the clear liquid from her eyes before grabbing her canvas and heading up towards the front of the class.

So I found Dani's instagram and I was scrolling through a couple of her photos. Then I saw Luna (LydiaMch) actually liked all of her photos. I was left shocked because I had no idea they actually know each other in real life.
LMAO, like I found their photos randomly on Google and placed them as bestfriends in the book. Only to find out that they might actually be friends in real life. That's crazy bro
