The car ride wasn't that long, Chase knew all the shortcuts through this city. Curtis played games on this device and paid no attention to the conversation Aelia and I were having
"Are you kidding me? I'm not gonna tell you my favorite position in front of Chase" Aelia hissed
"Fine, you don't have to tell me. I'll just figure it out for myself" I smirked
"Oh for fu- hell sakes" she corrected herself
I chuckled and leaned my head against hers. Curtis laid on my chest and his fingers tapped his device. My fingers were intertwined with Aelia's. She kissed my knuckles and rubbed circles in them
This calmed me, I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply. The sensation of her soft warm hands made goosebumps crawl along my skin
"You know, you still make me nervous" I chuckled
"Do I?" Aelia chuckled, I hummed in response
"Everytime I see you, it's like the first time" I mumbled
"You're gonna make me blush" she giggled
"I'm just trying to be honest, I love you so much Aelia Green"
"And I love you, Luna Amon" she smiled
The sound of a phone ringing interrupted me. Chase pressed the button and it Bluetoothed to the car speakers
"Hello, Henry's Chauffeur here" Chase said
"Chase, I need you to swing by for a meeting right now, the office has an issue" the person's voice echoed through the car
"I have my son with me sir-"
"Well, you gotta get here real fast, stuff's happening and it doesn't look good" the man growled
"We'll gladly watch him for a few hours if you're okay with that?" I asked
"You don't have to-"
"It's no trouble at all" Aelia assured
"I'll be there right away sir" Chase said and ended the call "Thank you girls, I won't be long I promise"
"Take your time, we'll be at the restaurant" I said
The car came to a halt, I glanced out and noticed we were already here. Chase came around and opened the door for us. I intertwined my fingers with Aelia and we headed out the car. Chase talked to his son while I looked around my new environment
After Chase and Curtis talked, he waved us goodbye and Aelia held the small boy's hand. We headed into the restaurant and my eyes met my relatives. A smile pulled across my face
