Y/n pov

The next morning..

I wake up and everyone was up except for me and Finn. Makes sense because we were up way later. I got up and decided to let Finn sleep.
"Goodmorning you!" Millie smiles.
"Goodmorning guys." I say.
"Here we bought McDonald's." Caleb says sliding me some pankcakes.
I start to eat and Noah sits next to me,
"Audition is in 3 days, you ready?" He asks.
"Yeah but I want to practice one more time." I say.
"I can come over tomorrow after class." He says.
"Okay perfect." I say.

School starts tomorrow now, I have classes with Jack mostly though.
Finn wakes up and comes eat with me
After eating Millie and I went back to our dorm, I took a shower and got ready, I curled my hair, put on a graphic T-shirt, and ripped jeans with slip on vans.
"So what are you going to do?" Millie asks.
"I'm not sure yet, what are your plans for today?" I ask.
"I'm hanging out with Jacob again." She says.
"When do we get to meet him?" I ask.
"Not sure." She laughs.

*Text messages*

Jack:
Hey Y/n, can you come over?
Me:
Yeah is everything okay?
Jack:
Just come whenever you can please
Me:
Okay I'll be their in 15 minutes

*end of messages*

"Well looks like I have plans now." I say.
"Alright I'm going to go now." She says.
"Bye." I say.
Millie leaves and I grab my phone and go too.
I walk to their dorm and knock,
Jack opens the door,
"Y/n, come in." He says.
I come in and I sit down on his bed.
"Wheres Finn?" I ask.
"He went to talk to his counselor." He says.
"Oh, so what's wrong?" I ask.
He sits down next to me,
"I know were not that close but everyone is busy and I really need to talk to someone." He says.
I could tell it was really serious.
"You can trust me." I say rubbing his shoulder.
"S-so my dad is in the hospital, he got into an accident." He says sadly.
"Oh Jack, I'm so sorry." I say.
"Hes really bad, my mom died when I was little, I dont want to lose him." He was about to cry so I gave him a hug.

He cries on me and hugs me tight.
"I understand what your feeling." I say.
"How?" He asks.
I had that feeling in my throat trying not to cry.
"When I was 16 my dad got into a car accident." I say tearing up.
"Is he, alive?" Jack asks letting me go.
"No, he passed away." I say as a tear fell down my cheek.
"I'm sorry." Jack hugs me again.
"Its okay, but I never got to say goodbye, and your lucky ur dad is still alive." I say.
"Do you think you can go the the hospital with me?" He asks.
"Of course, I'm glad you came to me, I'm here for you." I say.
"Thank you, I appreciate it." He says.
"Of course." I say.
"I have a car in the parking garage, I'll text my aunt that I'm going." He says texting on his phone.

We walk to the garage and he looked really scared,
"Do you want me to drive?" I asked.
"Would you really drive for me?" He asks.
"Yeah of course." I say.
"Thank you." Jack gives me another hug.
He gives me the keys and I start the car, I looked over at Jack, he reminded me of when I was driving home from my ex boyfriends house, I remember feeling alone and that nobody was their for me. So I did what I could to make sure Jack knew he wasn't alone.
"Hey, it's okay, I'm here."
I grab his hand, he was shaking.
He nods and I hold his hand while I drive. The whole ride his hand slowly stopped shaking.

We got to the hospital,
"Take a deep breathe." I say.
He breathes in and out,
"Ready to go?" I ask.
"Yeah."
We get out the car and I rub his back as we walk inside.
"Hello were looking for Mr. Grazer." Jack says.
"Hes in room 603." The nurse says.
"Can we go inside?" I ask.
"Yes you may." He says.
"Thank you." Says Jack.
We walk to the room and go inside,
His dad was connected to all these wires and breathing tubes. His aunt was there hold his dads hand,

"Jack your here." She gets up and gives him a hug.
"Hows he doing?" Jack asks.
"He needs surgery, but hes stable." She says.
"Thank God." Jack sighs in relief.
"And you are?" His aunt asks me.
"This is Y/n, shes a close friend. She drove me here." He says.
"Nice to meet you I'm Jack's aunt." She says.
"Nice to meet you too." I say.
"Thank you for everything Y/n." Jack says hugging me.
"Your welcome, I'm going to wait in the lobby and give you guys privacy." I say leaving.
"Can you hold my phone for me before you go?" Jack says.
"Yeah." He hands me his phone and I put it in my pocket.
"Thanks I'll see you in a bit." Jack says.
"No problem." I say.
I go to the lobby, sit down and go on my phone,

*text messages*

Finn:
Hey, what are you doing?
I want to respect Jack's privacy..
Me:
I'm visiting my friend Janet
Finn:
Aw I wanted to hangout with you. By the way do you know where Jack is he isnt answering his phone.
I pull out Jack's phone from my pocket, Finn was texting him a lot.
Me:
No sorry, I haven't seen him
Finn:
Is everything okay?
Me:
Yeah of course, I'll ttyl
Finn:
Alright..

*end of messages*

I feel bad lying to Finn but I don't want to share Jack's personal business without his permission to. I look up from my phone and I hear a beeping going crazy fast. Meaning someone's heart beat is rising fast. I get up and nurses run into Jack's dads room. They rush his dad out his room, Jack comes out the room and comes to me and cries on my shoulder.
"What happened?" I ask hugging him.
"He needed to have surgery right away." He cries.
"Come on let's sit down." I say.
"Wheres your aunt?" I ask.
"She needed to go pick up her kids." He says.
We sit down and he wipes his tears,
"I know this isn't the best time to ask, but Finn is worried about you, do you want me to tell him what's going on?"
"Thanks for not telling anyone, I'll call Finn and tell him, but I dont want anyone else to know. I trust you and Finn only." He says.
"Okay dont worry I won't tell anyone." I say.
"Thank you, I'm going to call Finn." Jack gets up and calls Finn.
After 5 minutes Jack came back,
"Finns on his way." He says.
