Black Poem #2

Its funny how being black has become a trend
Slang, Sagging of the pants, gangs
Box braids, Afros, big lips, hourglass bodies
Colored wigs, hoops, the list never ends
You all say it's culture appreciation
How?
Yall are they same people who called us
Ghetto and Ratchet
Called us Shanaenae, Starkeshia
Yet want to be just like us?
The list never ends

We were brought over here and stripped of our human rights
Our culture
Yall claim to have created the 'n-word'
A word that was originally ours
Negus- a word that represents royalty and God
A word that y'all felt threatened by
Yet y'all still want to say it?

Can't forget how most people want darker skin tones
Why? Because you see blacks being praised for it
You see black women getting attention for our sculpted bodies
You want to look like that as well
You want to date a black man because the KarJenners are doing so
You say to yourself "Since Kylie is dating a black man, I too want to date a black man so I can have mixed babies"
The list never ends

You HATED our culture and us
Now you want to steal it, redo it, take out all the flavor so it can fit you taste
The list never ends
The list never ends.

Thank you.

(I wrote this myself. I made it last week or the week before last. I can't remember but I also posted on my WeHeartit account)
