Liam breaked the car roughly in back of the vet's clinic, not sure how he managed to get here so quickly without crashing the older boy's car. Taking a deep breath, he turned off the ignition and looked into the passenger seat, his eyes widening as he saw the brunette with his eyes closed. He listened a little closer and panicked when he barely heard the boy's heartbeat.

Taking this as his cue to hurry up, he jumped out of the car and made his way around the other side of the car. He grabbed King's arm and put it around his shoulder, pulling the boy up and half dragging him to the door, which was surprisingly unlocked.

The blonde reached down to open the gate to the exam room, but some sort of invisible field prevented him from doing so. His eyes quickly scanned around, seeing the light in the back still on. "Hey! Hey, we need help!"

His shouting was successful as he saw a colored man appear from the back room. Seeing the two boys, his eyes widened as he recognized the unconscious one. "Get him in the back." The vet said, opening the gate and allowing the two boys back.

After getting the brunette boy onto the metal table, the man, who Liam learned was named Deaton, started examining him. "He's got time, but not a lot of it." He said as he rushed around. "What was it? Do you know?"

Liam rapidly shook his head, placing his hands to his hair as he stammered out words. "I..I think wolfbane? I don't know! Scott j-just said to bring him here. That you'd know what to do."

Deaton nodded, starting to removed the sixteen year old's jersey and padding. "One thing." Once the fabric was off, he turned around and grabbed something off of a bench before turning back to the two werewolves, a scalpel in his hand. His eyes met Liam's, whose were wide as saucers. "You need to hold him.

Gulping, the boy nodded and moved to stand by the boy's head, pinning his shoulders to the metal table. Before the vet could get even close to making the incision, the brunette boy started seizing, a yellow foam coming out the corners of his mouth.

"What's happening?! What's going on?!" The blonde shouted worriedly.

"He doesn't have much time. Hold him still!"

Liam tried his best to hold the boy down, but it didn't help the vet much. The brunette boy's chest heaved up and down, the substance still flowing from his mouth.

"Hold him!"

"I'm trying!" The freshman shouted back. Not knowing what else to do, he took a deep breath and slammed his fist to King's head, knocking the werewolf off cold. The pain that radiated through his hand only lasted a minute before he shook it off, watching as the colored man made a clean line down the center of the boy's chest.

A yellow smoke emitted from his chest, causing Liam to hold his breath. He watched as King's body seemed to visibly relax, causing the blonde boy to do the same. Now all that was left to do was wait, according to Deaton.

While they sat in silence, the young boy couldn't help but look at the three long scars that extended from the brunette's right shoulder, going down to just above his stomach. Just seeing them caused a lump to form in the boy's throat, remembering that night like it was yesterday.

Not wanting to relive it, Liam shook his head and sat down in a chair next to the exam table, propping his feet up and laying his head back to wait.

The Stilinski groaned softly as he felt someone shaking him. Slowly, he peeled his eyes open, only to snap them shut from the bright light. "King." A voice said. "King, we have to go."

He opened his eyes again to see a frantic looking Liam next to the table he laid on, holding what appeared to the brunette's number 17 jersey. Before the older boy could speak, he did.

"Stiles is here." He said nervously. "They're bringing Brett. He got cut, too."

At his words, King seemed to have a burst of energy go through his body as he hoisted himself up. But it was short lived, for as soon as his feet hit the ground, the boy's knees buckled from under him. Luckily, Liam was there in a second, helping the boy stand as he led him towards the back.

"Where's...the doc?" The curly haired boy said as the younger boy led him over to his car, which was luckily hidden in the shadows of the night.

"Stalling." Liam answered before opening the car door, allowing the boy to plop down before he tossed his jersey at his chest and made his way to the driver's seat.

When the freshman got in the car, Liam turned and saw the older beta looking at him, a smirk on the boy's face. "What?"

"You didn't crash my car." King teased. "I'm proud."

The blonde allowed himself to laugh softly, shaking his head. "I almost crashed a couple times." He admitted. "If it was a manual, I would've died."

At this, the brunette's face fell. "Liam...it is a manual."

The blonde's eyes widened in shock as he turned to his friend. At the look on his face, King couldn't keep his laughter in. He bit his lip and looked at the now irritated boy.

Liam rolled his eyes and pushed to boy playfully, a small smile coming to his own face. "You're an ass."

The other boy merely shrugged. "I try." No words were said between the two as they sat in the black car, their faces only visible to each other by the small light hanging above the clinic's back door a little ways away.

Kingston couldn't help but stare at the younger boy. Not to stare, per say...but to admire. The boy was barely fifteen, but he still bared the weight of all this supernatural crap upon his shoulders and, somehow, managed to keep his head held high.

The boy in question turned his head and saw the older of the two leaning against the center council. The blonde, for once, was the one looking down on him, the freshman's blue eyes scanning his face.

"I want to try something..." King spoke up, his eyes still on the blonde's face, flickering around as he studied his emotion. "And please don't kill me for it."

"Why would I-"

Liam was silenced by a pair of soft lips pressed against his own. His eyes widened in shock and his heart started to beat faster, but his body seemed to know what to do as it relaxed, allowing the younger boy to kiss him back.

The Stilinski lifted his hand to the back of the other boy's neck, pulling him down closer to him. He could hear the boy's heart rate pick up, as did his own, but he was too lost in the adrenaline of the moment to care.

It seemed like ages before the two boys finally pulled apart, faces flushed a deep red, breathing heavy and lips puffy. Liam's face held an unreadable expression before a small smile came to his face, the same one being matched on King's.

As the blonde boy slowly opened his eyes, the older boy was able to see the golden glow that was common amongst betas. But what Liam saw shocked him, causing his yellow eyes to disappear back to their normal blue.

"What?" The brunette said curiously. "What is it?"

"Your eyes..." He said softly.

Not understanding, King sat up straight and flipping down the visor, opening the small mirror that was held on it. His eyes, too widened at the image. He had expected to see the same golden eyes the boy beside him had, but instead, he saw glowing eyes that held a blue and yellow marbled color.

Neither could say anything more about the situation before the blonde boy's phone dinged with a new message. Pulling it out, the boy let out a sigh at the notification he saw. "They cracked the next part of the Deadpool."
