You just gripped tighter onto his jacket sobbing harder. Naruto know what it's like to lose people you care about so he asked Shikamaru to keep thing under control at the office and he'd be at yours and Borutos house if anything really big happened. He let you cry and just held you. It reminded you of your father. Naruto was like another father to you. He kept his promise to your dad and took care of you the best he could.

Naruto: Boruto! Where were you?
Boruto: I was at the... Prison
