Prinxiety, Logicality, Demus

Third Person's POV

It was winter in Florida, which means it'll never drop below sixty degrees and there's nothing winter related to do. Well, that's what Roman, Logan, Virgil, Janus, and Remus thought anyway. Of course, Patton had a plan, ice skating. Even though the lake near the college they were attending never froze over, they could still go to the indoors ice rink. So Patton got all of them in a car, not bothering to tell them where they were going.

"Okay, I get that this is supposed to be a surprise, but did we have to bring those two?" Roman asks, pointing at Janus and Remus who were basically attached at the mouth.

"Remus is your brother, we should include them at least some of the time," Patton tells him.

He was always insistent that the four of them were a family, and Remus being actually related to one of them just dragged him and Janus into the family. So Patton drove the six of them to the ice rink in his car. Logan and Patton were in the front, Roman, Remus, and Janus in the back while Virgil was stuffed in the trunk trying to sleep since he couldn't fit in the glove compartment. The only thing Patton had told them in advance was to bring warm clothes. They arrive at the ice rink, the others being relatively underwhelmed.

"Your idea for a 'family outing' was ice skating?" Logan asks him.

"I don't know what he's talking about Pat, this was a great idea!" Roman declares, sitting between the front seats, "We even have the ice queen herself with us," He says, nudging Logan.

Instead of responding, Logan gets out of the car, not bothering to wait for the others. Roman ends up carrying Virgil inside since he wouldn't leave the trunk willingly. Patton rushed ahead to pay for everyone, having hope that this would be a lovely family outing for the six of them. Remus drags Janus inside, already plotting to knock Roman over every chance he gets.

Once inside Janus makes a beeline for the concession stand to get hot chocolate, deciding that skidding around on a thin blade doesn't look that fun. Roman forces Virgil out onto the ice and ends up using one of those walker-things while Roman gives him some 'helpful' tips. Of course, he abandons his boyfriend when Remus challenges him to a race, claiming he needs to defend his honor. Logan, despite his good coordination, actually has horrible balance and clings to Patton's waist for support. The fatherly friend excitedly glides along, staying upright because of the nerd holding onto him for dear life.

"Eat sh!t dorkwad!!" Remus screeches, shoving Roman over at the last corner of their unofficial race.

"You cheater!" The salty prince yells from the ground, brushing the ice off of himself as he stands.

Virgil awkwardly skates over, stumbling every few inches, "He's always going to cheat so you might as well help me before you magically become single." Roman immediately goes to his side, eventually getting Virgil to leave the walker to let Roman slowly drag him along by the hand.

"JaNuS!!! CoMe OnNnNn!!!" Remus shouts through the glass at his own boyfriend who is currently huddled up in his sweatshirt drinking hot cocoa.

"Nah, I'd rather not freeze my a$$ off," He calls back. Janus was always cold except for the summer where he'd often lay in the sun like a snake.

Remus gasps, offended, "How dare you?" He asks quietly, making Janus have to read his lips. He pats the seat next to him, wanting Remus to come out and cuddle him. And the rat man was quick to oblige.

"Patton slow down, SLOW DOWN!!!" Logan screeches, his voice not even sounding remotely masculine.

"Are you not having an ice time??" He asks cheekily, looking down to see Logan glaring at him, "Oh come on Lo, don't give me the cold shoulder," Logan sighs heavily, almost falling as his grip loosens slightly.

After a few hours of skating, the three couples get churros and drive back to the dorms. They all happily agree when Patton suggests they go again sometime, but you don't need Janus to point out that they were lying.

A/N: I'll probably be taking a break from this book soon because I'm getting literally no requests so I'll take time to work on my other project. There's gonna be at least one more oneshot before the break but yeah idk
