Virgil's POV

"Hello and welcome to the most terrifying experience of your life," An 'ominous' voice states over the intercom system.

"Yeah right, like this is gonna be scarier than highschool," I say to myself with a laugh.

That place was absolute hell for anyone not in sports or marching band for some reason. Seriously, when did people in marching band become cool because that's how it was at Meadowbrook?!

Deciding to figure it out later, I step into the security office of Fazbear Frights, it's like a haunted house on steroids. All I've been told since accepting the job is that I'm going to essentially playtest the place and to find the security office. From here I understand that I'm supposed to be monitoring the place like a security guard because the owners of this place need a way to make light of the countless employees that have died on duty. Fun for the whole family.

The layout seems pretty simple, if a bit eerie, I could give them credit for that much. So far my only question is why they felt the need to set out so many animatronic parts? Do they think it adds to the 'spooky' atmosphere because it doesn't.

There are two monitors, one being used to reboot different systems that actual buildings would never have. Why the heck would someone working the nightshift need a button that mimics child laughter? Is that supposed to lure away whatever nightmare creature's locked in here with me? That doesn't seem like a very reliable system.

I grab the other monitor, seeing that it shows the different cameras and their footage. The phone on my desk, which I thought was just a prop, rings, "Uh... Hello? Hello hello?"

Nope, I do not care, stop talking. Mysterious phone calls that get the main character killed are horror movie 101 and I am not that gullible. I hit the mute button and start flipping through the cameras, trying to locate the 'totally safe' animatronic that I'm supposed to keep away from me.

Aside from the unrealistic idea of luring a robot away with sound, it's actually not half bad as far as horror goes. The whole dark, haunted, and broken-down aesthetic works really well. I find the thing, which appears to be an old and scrapped version of the original golden bonnie animatronic. Well, instead of gold it's more of a dark green, almost like it was the same suit, but time had discolored it.

Seeing that it's a couple hallways away, I play the audio in the room behind it. For a moment, nothing happens but then the camera goes to static for a moment before the footage reappears. The old bunny suit has disappeared from view, and I flip through the cameras anxiously for it. It's not like I was scared or anything, heck for all I know there's not even an actual animatronic it could just be a recording!

Before I find it, I see some other animatronic in one of the cameras, it's some kind of black and green version of that annoying balloon seller. I'm sorry but human animatronics are a lot less creepy than the animal ones. Suddenly a loud mechanical screech plays and I basically throw the monitor away. Some alarms start going off and I go over to the other monitor and see that all the systems need to be reboot. I start one, my anxiety outweighing the fact that these probably don't do anything.

The lights start flickering and the cameras go staticy while I'm restarting the ventilation system. I end up hitting all the buttons repeatedly, praying that one will actually do something. At this point it's amazing that I'm not having a panic attack purely based on just how anxious I am. I start up the cameras next, since I don't plan on losing this game.

Just as everything starts to calm down a bit, I notice that the green bunny is no longer in the back two rooms. Shoot, shoot, shoot where is it?!

"AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!"

A detective walks into the autopsy room after a coffee run, "You got a COD yet?" He asks the medical examiner.

"So far it's hard to say. There are no concerning external injuries, minus the very obvious knife wound. But if I'm right, it was made after they had already passed away even if by only a few seconds," The examiner replies.

"Okay, so our killer is probably stupid, a wuss, or they had some sort of vendetta against Storm," The detective summarizes.

"Or they didn't realize that he was already dead," The M.E. says mysteriously.

He sighs, "You know I hate guessing games, what've you got?"

"This man, in generic terms, died from extreme anxiety," She says, "Whatever happened in that 'horror attraction' apparently did its job, and then some. His heart would have stopped from the level of adrenaline, and without medical help, he had no way to restart it."

"So as far as the stabbing goes, it's not technically murder. But, we do have a good reason to shut down that Fazbear Fright's place before it can open properly," He comments.

She smiles, turning in her spinny chair, "Yep, which means more paperwork for you."

"Shut it Dawn before I accuse you of malpractice," The detective warns, leaving the room.

A/N: Don't come at me Virgil stans, I already killed off my favorite character and yet here I am. The final one of these might not come out for a while because of school and Welcome to Hell so sorry
