It left her in tears.
His words kept lingering ins...
"Huh! She ran away!" Sabrina said as she folded her arms.
"It can't be *coughs*!"
"She's so ashamed now that she ran away. Why do you think she did that?" She smirked.
"Cause...you were...right?" He asked unwantedly.
"Yes! You finally got it!" Sabrina said with a huge smile and Ember ran out of the class in search of Rhea.
"Rhea!" He called out her name.
"Rhea?! Can you hear me?!"
"Go away!" Rhea said, sitting on the staircase, with her phone and a packet.
"Oh there you are." He said in relief and sat beside her.
"I said, go away."
"But why?"
"You believed in her. Not me."
"I believed in you! *coughs* not her!"
"I'm not after your money or YOU! I hate you! I hate your existence."
"Rhe-"
"If you think I have cut her hair, I'm after your money, you're wrong. She's wrong. Everybody's wrong! I don't care how rich you are. I was with you because we were friends. And now, we're not. You'll go your way, and I'll go mine."
"Rhea wait, what are you saying?"
"I'm saying that, there's NOTHING between us. And YOU have to prove her wrong."
"I will but-"
"I'm not friend zoning you because we can't be friends any longer!"
"Why *coughs* are you saying this? What have I done? You don't have anything to say. You're just saying whatever's coming in your mind. And it doesn't make any sense!"
"Yeah, right. Everything she said makes complete sense and I'm a fool to trust you as a friend!"
"Rhea!"
"If I have to leave this city, you'll be the one at fault."
"Why would you have to leave?!"
"Because, Sabrina has proved that I'm a criminal."
"It's not true! I'll speak for you!"
"Well, it doesn't matter now. I'll be going then."
"No! Where are you going *coughs*?!"
"You have left me once, why can't I leave you?!"
"Wait, what? When did I ever leave you?!" He asked with hesitation.
"Nevermind." She handed him the packet she had with her and got up.
"What's this?"
"Cough syrup. It will reduce your coughing."
"You...noticed...?"
"I did. That's why I left the classroom." She nodded.
"You care for me so much but you're being rude...why is it so? Why are you doing this?" He said with teary eyes.
She put the packet in his hand. "Have this before sleeping and after waking up for the next 3 days. It will help." She said and turned away from him.
"...thank you..." Ember said and Rhea walked away from there. She looked back at him after walking a distance, with teary eyes.
