Chapter 35: Suspicion

Odette's POV

"Baby the labapmalayp!"

Halos masuka ako sa sigaw ni Angel. Ang baduy naman ng anong tawag ba dyan? Call names? Code names? Tawagan or what?

I saw Hyena's face glows after seeing Angel. I smiled after witnessing them, they really look like a happy husband and wife, if they only have a child then happy family.

Hyena noticed me so he became serious and glance at Angel then back at me.

"I'm Odette, you must be David Jackson, her boyfriend," I introduced myself.

Kumunot ang noo niya bago magsalita.

"Who are you?" he seriously asked.

What's his deal? Bakit ang seryoso naman masyado nito I mean nevermind I can't express it.

"I said I'm Odette-" I was cut off when he interrupted me "-I'm asking who are you to Angel, bitch,"my eyes widened as I heard his last word. He only wisphered it that I think I'm that only one who heard it. This jerk, if only he know me I'll punch him now.

Is this really Hyena? Something's wrong, or maybe he's just very protective to Angel? Though he called me bitch, how dare this asshole.

"I'm her friend, why? " I replied.

Don't tell me nagseselos siya sa'kin? I'm a pure girl for pete sake at hindi kami talo ni Angel. I gazed at him and he look relieved but the scrutinizing look is still there though.

"Nothing," nakangiti niyang sambit.

Hours have past and I am freakin' bored watching them flirt with each other. Magshopping kaya ako?

Yeah when I was in England Sierra introduced to me the world of fashion and girly stuffs. Like hell yeah, it's not that bad though.

Tumayo ako kasabay ng pag ring ng cellphone sa office table.

Calling Uncle GT...

I peeked at it and before Hyena get it then I saw the name of the caller.

"Excuse me malabapmalayp I need to answer this," he stated as he went outside the office.

Uncle GT? Who is GT? Is that an acronym or what? A code name? A pseudonym?

Tumingin ako kay Angel na nakangiti habang nakatulala. I snap my fingers causing her to gain back her posture and look at me.

"Do you find something odd with David or Hyena-" she cut me off "-call mo siya David mas handsome," she said while giggling, tsk.

"Okay David kung david but Angel, do you find something wrong or what, sometimes when you are with him?" I asked.

She glimpsed above like she's thinking then she raise her index finger like some bulb popped at her mind.

"Oh yes, he minsan go out I mean halos palaging go out dito sa office niya," she stated and again with giggling effect.

I know that noon pa, when I visit him at his base sometimes before. His General Assassin always told me that he go outside and went somewhere.

"Then?" dagdag kong tanong.

"He dala me chocolate or 'di kaya-" hindi ko na siya pinatapos at lumabas na ako.

The one that never changed with her was her blabbering nonsense perosnality, psh.

Hold on, I heard a familiar voice inside the stockroom kaya lumapit ako sa pintuan at dinikit ang tenga ko dito.

"I don't know, hindi pa niya sinasabi sa'min kung ano ang plano niya." It's David.

Sino kaya ang kausap nito, I think nasa cellphone ang kausap niya dahil wala akong narinig na sumagot.

"Oo. Kapag sinabi niya na ang plano, I will tell you right away para mapaghandaan natin ang magiging hakbang niya," he said.

Magiging hakbang niya? I mentally uttered.

Hindi ko marinig ang kanyang kausap dahil hindi naka loudspeaker ang tawag.

"Mamaya na lang ulet dahil nandito si Angel. Oh teka nagpadala ka ba ng Mafia Reapers mo para samahan si Angel dito? Sge sge akala ko nagpadala ka sge sa susunod na lang," huling saad niya bago ko marinig ang kaniyang yabag na papalapit sa pinto.

Is he pertaining to me as a Mafia Reaper?

I roam my eyes and immediately went to the side where the door of the girl's restroom is located.

Pagbukas ng pinto nakita agad niya ako then sumeryoso ang mukha niya.

"I know you, ikaw ang kasama ni Angel, why are you here?" he muttered.

Kita nang nasa tapat ako ng cr.

"Ah yeah, maybe to plant some trees?" I sarcastically replied.

He clenched his jaw before walking directly to me and hold my jaw.

"Huwag mo akong sasagutin ng pabalang," nanggigigil niyang pahayag.

How dare him hold my jaw. I kick him in the balls but he caught my foot. I smirked then bumbed my right elbow to his jaw causing him to release me.

Then I jump and give him the sweetest kick in the cheeks then he fell to the ground. I walked to him and step on his foot causing him to emitted a low groan.

"Who are you?!" galit niyang tanong.

"Bakit? Dahil ba nasaktan ang iyong katawan o ang pride?" pang iinsulto ko.

I never thought that Hyena has this kind of attitude.

"Fuck you David Jackson," malamig kong saad bago tumalikod at naglakad.

So you're the spy David fuckin Jackson I'm not stupid nor dumb not to realize what you've said earlier. Mafia reapers? Then your caller ID was GT? Gregory Trinity right?

Hold on, what if I'm wrong? I don't wanna accused someone without evidences. Yeah right I need evidences.

But when I was still fatima, I know that someone was spying in the organization because of our conversation way back at Mr. Cheetah's house.

Only an assassin of this organization knows the location of our every base so when Mr. Lion sent the Director and General Assassins of the base in Baclaran to assassinate Mr. Gregory before maybe David told Mr. Gregory na wala ang pundasyon ng base na yun kaya nagpadala siya ng tao para patayin lahat ang assassins doon.

Hindi ko lang alam kung ano ang nangyari sa Director Assassin at sa General Assassins ng base na iyun dahil napatay ako noon, dba?

For now I'm going to investigate David Jackson. I'm gonna ask Angel if there's something happening inside the organization. If I need to be an Assassin again of this goddamn association I'll take whatever it takes to know the truth.

Sana hindi ikaw ang espiya Hyena. I will- goddamn this situation.
