Chapter 41: Escaped

Odette's POV

I went directly to the door when it open and a person entered.

"Anong narinig ko ka-" he was cut off when I throw my blade at him and cut his mouth.

"Let's go," ani ko at naunang lumabas.

This looks like a hotel. Pagkalabas namin ay bumungad ang isang hallway na may mga pintuan sa bawat gilid. Also may nakasulat na numero sa bawat pinto.

Bumukas lahat ng pinto at lumabas ang mga armadong lalake. Tumalikod ako at nakitang may mga kalaban din sa likod.

"Hey I'm front and you're at the back," I mumbled and started killing these assholes.

May nagpaputok sa harap ko pero yumuko ako kaya ang nasa likod ko ang nabaril at sinipa ang paa niya papunta sa gilid. Before he fell I stabbed him in the chest then hold the chain and forcely pull it.

I streched my hand at the front and the blade fly straight ahead and stabbed many enemies then I hold the chain and pull it.

Aftew half an hour we the hallway became bloody. Bodies lying everywhere and blood spread at the wall and the floor even at my shirt.

Pinagpag ko ang mga kamay ko at bumalik ang blade ko sa loob ng damit ko. Tumayo ako at tumingin sa likod.

Hindi ko na nakita ang mukha ni Lion dahil nawala siya sa likod ko at pagtingin ko sa harapan, nasa sahig na ang lalake habang nasa nakatayo sa harap nila si Lion.

Two of them kick him at the face but he used his both hands as shield, the other three use it as a chance to kicked him in the abdomen kaya tumilapon siya at napahiga sa sahig.

Tumayo naman ang lalake at ngumisi sa kanya. All of them looks the same age. They are four man and two ladies.

"Marami kami isa ka lang," pang iinsulto niya.

Nagulat kami nang tumilapon ang pinto ng isang kwarto sa aming harapan. We gazed at the room where the door came from. Nakita naming lumabas ang mga lalake na kasing edad nila but what caught my attention was the last man who appeared, it's Mr. James! The one who defeat me just in just a snap. Medyo tumanda siya ang konti pero ang presensiya niya ganun pa rin.

"Now it's even," he uttered while looking at them.

They also look like taken aback and confused.

Tumalon ako palayo nang sumugod si Mr. James papunta sa kanila na buong tapang naman nilang sinalubong. Sumunod sa kanya ang mga lalake sa likod niya.

Tinignan ko si Lion na nakatayo na pala at taimtim na tinitignan ang laban sa kanyang harapan.

I can say that both of them, the man who clap awhile ago and Mr. James, have the same level of skills. Kapag aatake ang isa makakaganti ang isa.

"Leave, kaya na namin ito!" sigaw ni Mr. James sa'min.

Actually lima lang sila at anim ang kalaban nila.

Tutulong sana ako pero hinawakan ni Lion ang kamay ko at hinila palayo. Dumaan kami sa likod at naghanap ng daanan palabas.

It took us a while 'til we found an exit. We saw a car outside so we immediately went inside and started the engine then drove it away from the place.

Nasa shotgun seat ako at si Lion ang driver. I glance at the back and saw that we came from huge building where there's a huge signage at the top of the building.

"Are you hurt?" nag aalalang tanong ni Lion habang nagmamaneho.

I stared at him.

"Bakit bilis mong maniwala na ako nga si Fatima?" inis kong saad.

Now I'm regreting why I told him my story. Hindi ko naman alam na matagal na pala niya akong kilala. Take note the year I became an assassin in his org. was the time he started knowing my existence.

"I woke up first before you, because that stupid Wolf did not get my phone. Nagising ako sa isang tawag sa phone ko and found out it was Mateo. He asked me if I am with someone and even it's dark in that room I sense someone so I used my flashlight and was shocked to found out it was the woman who kicked me. I told Mateo that you're with me and noticed his worried voice so I asked if what's your relation to him. And because he can't lie to me he told me everything, at first I can't believe it so I waited for you to wake up to know if it's true. Sa tagal mong magising ay nakatulog na ako at nagising nang hawakan mo ang hmdmfmcmfmdp," I cut him off by covering his mouth.
