Something More: Part 10

As soon as Nat closed the door Pepper started squealing, "Oh my God! Did it really happen??"

Natasha stood there looking at her for a second, in shock at her excitement. Why was it such a big deal to Tony and Pepper?

"Umm, yeah it did. We just kinda found comfort in each other and one thing lead to another and I'm really happy." Natasha looked away and blushed. She felt like a girl with a crush and the smile on her face made her feel stupid but she couldn't help it. "I think it was a long time coming." She added.

"I can tell he makes you very happy." Pepper was smiling at Natasha and obviously trying to contain her excitement when Wanda walked in.

"So Tony is really grilling Steve, does this mean we can talk about it now?" Wanda had wide eyed excitement as she jumped on to Nat's bed. Aside from a few details about their dates and anything Wanda had seen herself, Natasha had kept most of hers and Steve's relationship to herself. It might be good to talk to the girls about it.

"I guess you have been very patient Wanda."

"Wanda knew and you never told me!" Pepper was opened mouth shocked again.

"Technically, I walked in on them having sex so she didn't really tell me anything." Wanda had a wild grin and was laughing. Natasha grabbed a pillow and hit her with it as she burst out laughing as well.

"Okay, so I guess I will tell you guys everything then."

Natasha had no idea how long she had been talking about Steve when there was a knock at the door, "Come in." She stopped her story for the girls and turned to see Steve poking his head in the door.

"Hey, can I talk to you for a second Nat?" Steve had a soft smile on his face that she couldn't help but return.

"Sure!" As she got up and went to the door she heard Pepper say, "This conversation is not over Nat!"

"What's up, Baby?"As Natasha closed the door behind her. Steve looked a little concerned and she couldn't help but want to comfort him with whatever was wrong. She stepped closer to him and put her hand on his chest, "is something wrong?"

"I hope not." He was trying to make a joke but Natasha could tell he was still self-conscious. "Tony made a reservation tonight for us to have a double date. I told him I needed to talk to you but he went ahead anyway. We don't have to go if you don't want to, I know we just had a fight and we probably aren't in the best head space for it and Tony is going to be insufferable the whole time and.."

"Steve, it's okay. I would love to go to dinner with you. I could care less if Tony and Pepper were there, I'd rather have you to myself but I guess I will have to learn to share you now that people know." Natasha wrapped her arms around him and looked up at him. She stood on her tippy toes wanting a kiss, Steve smiled and leaned down to kiss her.

"I love you." Steve's smile faded quickly as he looked at Natasha's face trying to gauge her reaction. "I'm sorry Nat it slipped out. You don't need to say anything. I'm sorry."

Steve turned to take off, Natasha grabbed his hand and ran in front of him, "Hey, Steve it's okay really. I love you too." He looked even more shocked that she said too.

"Rrreally?" Steve managed to ask as he hesitantly put his arms around her, "it's not too soon?"

"Oh it's probably way to soon. But I wouldn't lie about loving someone. If you feel it, you should tell them. And I love you, Steven Rogers." Natasha smiled at him and he kissed her again. They heard a thud and both turned to see Peter had dropped his backpack and was staring at them.

"Wha-what? H-how? Oh my god, does Mr. Stark know?" Peter was still studdering when Tony came around the corner.

"And I thought I was the last to know. Peter, you live here and you didn't figure it out? I was here 30 seconds and I knew what was up." Tony was boasting, which usually annoyed Nat to no end. She loved to put him in his place. He was like her super annoying brother.

"Well if you had of announced yourself instead of sneaking in here you still wouldn't know." Natasha still had her arms around Steve. She leaned her head to his chest and he kissed the top of her head.

"Well we better get ready for tonight. See you at 6 Tony?" Steve had one arm around Nat and was turning to walk away.

"You bet buddy! See you guys at 6! Don't be late or all assume it's because of all the sex!" Tony was yelling after them in an effort to make them both uncomfortable.

Natasha looked up at Steve and smiled, "You know we could have sex, we haven't in a couple days and with our fight I think some makeup sex is a fabulous idea." Steve blushed as she said that secretly wondering if Peter and Tony were still in ear shot. He looked down at her, "Nat, you're going to have to control yourself until after dinner because the things I want to do to you... we don't have the time."

Natasha got instant butterflies. She couldn't wait until after dinner. Not with promises like that. She gave him a quick kiss and went to kick the girls out of her room. She told Pepper about dinner who went home to get ready and Wanda helped Nat cover her bruises with makeup. They gave Natasha an updo that covered her stitches on her forehead and Nat put on a simple black dress. She was ready by 5:30 and went looking for Steve.

Natasha found him in his room trying to pick out a shirt. He had on dark blue jeans that were tight in all the right places. He seemed to be debating between a grey and blue dress shirt when Natasha came up behind him and kissed his back, "blue brings out your eyes."

Steve turned and kissed her quickly on the lips, "Wow. Baby, you look amazing." Steve looked her up and down as Nat gave a slow spin.

"Still want to go to dinner?" Natasha raised an eyebrow at him. She would stay home if she thought Tony wouldn't come right into this room and drag them out.

Steve laughed and ran his hand through his hair, "I would like nothing more than to stay home with you, but I think we both know that we need to show up for this. Tony will be here soon to pick us up." Steve leaned in to kiss her again, he took his time and pulled her close. He could always make her weak in the knees. She wrapped her arms around his neck to help steady herself when there was a knock on the door.

"Tony." Natasha and Steve said at the same time. They smiled and Steve put on the blue shirt. He was still buttoning when they went to the hall to find Tony and Pepper.

"Hope I didn't interrupt anything." Tony was smirking and Pepper playfully hit him in the arm with her purse.

"We are ready." Steve said as he grabbed Nat's hand and gave it a squeeze.
