The next day, Jay walked into Sunghoon's room with him humming and dancing goofy. He doesn't hate school, but he's not the type to get this excited to attend school either.

Jay snuck in, leaning on the wall, watching Sunghoon dance around his room, half naked. He crossed his arms on his chest, enjoying the entertainment.

Sunghoon then touched this bouquet of blue roses and smiled to himself in the mirror. He let out a yelp when he say Jay on the reflection. He grabbed cushion from his chair and threw it to chuckling Jay at the corner. "Don't you know how to knock?" He scowled at Jay.

"Not really." Jay responds still not planning to get out of Sunghoon's room.

Sunghoon grabbed another pillow throwing it to Jay. Jay grabbed the cushion from the floor then started a pillow fight with Sunghoon. "Why are you so happy Hoonie? Who gave you that bouquet?"

Sunghoon blushed and turned away, just when Jay thought Sunghoon had enough, he turned around to hit Jay with a pillow once again.

"What are you guys still doing here?" Sungyeon barged in the room, seeing the guys not yet ready for school. She hissed grabbing Sunghoon's uniform, throwing it at him, then grabbing Jay's shoulders, taking a comb to fix his hair.

Jay's eyes flickered as his mother fix his hair for the first time. Or maybe she did this often when he was still little, but couldn't remember anymore.

"You both need a haircut. Look at this mess." She said trying to fix Jay's hair.

"No we don't. This is what the chickas like." Jay joked, making Sunghoon laugh behind him while trying to wear his uniform.

"You're so grown up. You both are." She hugged Jay tightly. For the very first time, Jay felt like he has a mother. He wanted to Hug her back when she pulled away and stared at his face, studying it.

It was awkward for Jay, because she's never had someone stare at hing longingly. "If only..." Sungyeon started but didn't finish. It was as if she couldn't. Like it was hard to continue her sentence. She was tearing up all of a sudden. Her hold on Jay's shoulders tightened.

"Mom! What is that look?" Sunghoon asked, pulling Jay away from Sungyeon, going straight towards the kitchen to bite on their toast and run outside where their father is waiting by the car.

"We're ready!" Sunghoon slid inside the car pulling Jay. He's now excited on the car ride to school because now, he's with Jay. He's not alone anymore.

While they were on the way, Jay opened the window, letting the freezing cold breeze enter inside of their father's car. "Close that thing! You'll catch cold." Their father told him.

That reminded Jay of EJ's injury. It was suspicious. Why would someone go to a falls at December? No wonder he keeps sneezing and coughing.

The moment they stepped into their classroom, Jay stared at EJ, who was peacefully sleeping on his desk. Even Youngbin doesn't seem to disturb him.

Jay went to him, but Mr. Yoon entered the classroom all of a sudden. "Sit down!" He yelled at Jay right away. Jay wanted to sit down but was concerned when EJ didn't budge even after Mr. Yoon yelled. His voice is loud as a train noise, any student would pay attention, sick or sleepy.

Jay placed a hand on his neck and noticed he was warm, but not sure if it's a fever. He has a fever yesterday so it's not impossible that he still has it.

"Mr. Park! Sit down or I'll make you." Mr. Yoon warned Jay.

"EJ's sick." Jay spoke clearly as possible.
