"Come on Kurapika! It wouldn't hurt to go!"

Inside an apartment, Leorio was complaining at Kurapika who was ignoring him. Gon and Killua was playing games in the background, as Kurapika was simply reading a book.

"I don't see the point in going on a blind date." Kurapika replied nonchalantly making  Leorio frustrated

"Look at yourself Kurapika! Your getting older and you haven't gotten yourself a girl!"

"You should be saying the to yourself."

An irk mark appeared on Leorio's forehead as he grew angry at the blonde. "I'm not old! And I'm finding myself a girl, unlike you!" Leorio retorts

'If you ever find one.' Kurapika thought

"But, still...Kurapika...find a girl that will care and love you as much as you would."

Kurapika stayed silent, not wanting to keep the discussion further. Leorio sighed before an idea came to him. Opening his phone, he smirked at Kurapika as he tapped something on his phone.

"It doesn't matter if you don't want to go, you would go either way." Leorio snickered as Kurapika looked at him in confusion

"What do you mean by that?"

"I already set you up on a blind date!" Leorio showed Kurapika his phone

"Leorio! Why did you do that?!" Kurapika yelled

"So you won't have any choice but to go."

"No! I wouldn't go even if you force me to." Kurapika looked away from Leorio who continued to smirk

"But Kurapika, what do you think would the girl feel, when she finds out that her supposed to be date isn't gonna show up? I pity her." Leorio faked feeling bad

Kurapika stayed silent as he thought about it. He wouldn't be a gentleman if he leaves a girl waiting for him, and he wouldn't show up. Sighing, Kurapika stood up and went to his room, without saying a word.

"Did he agree?" Killua asked

"Oh, I know he did." Leorio proudly stated

"What are you guys talking about?" Gon faced them with an innocent face

"Nothing Gon."

Kurapika was now sitting on a chair in a cafe, waiting for his date. He was just sitting casually with his book on the table. 'I wonder who my date is.'  Kurapika wasn't excited nor nervous. I mean, he was just forced to attend anyway.

The door of the cafe opened as Kurapika heard the sound of the bell that was on top of it. Turning around, he saw a girl with (H/c) hair and (E/c) eyes. He was thinking if she was her date or not.

You looked at him, noticing that he was the only one who is alone. Walking towards Kurapika, kept your eyes on him. He was attractive, and cute.

"Hello, are you Kurapika?" You asked

"I am, you are?" Kurapika raised an eyebrow

"Oh my name is (F/n), but I'm not your date." You nervously smiled

Kurapika narrowed his eyes. If you're not his date, then who is?

"I'm here on my friend's behalf. She said she apologize that she had to back out, she changed her mind and decided to confess her feelings to her crush instead." You said

Kurapika kept a poker face on as he stared at you. 'I was forced to attend this blind date because I didn't want to leave a girl waiting, but now I am the one who was left waiting.' Kurapika thought to himself.

"So, I'm here to take her place instead." You continued

"You are going to take her place?"

"She forced me to. But if you're not comfortable with it, we can just go on our separate ways." You smiled at him

Kurapika thought about it, he doesn't know if he should stay or not. But, it's not like he minded. He was here already, after all.

"Sure, if you have no problem with it." Kurapika smiled at you

"Great!"

You sat on the chair in front of him, as a waiter came and asked for your order. "(F/d), please". The waiter nodded and went on his way. You two stayed silent, staring at each others eyes.

"To be honest, I was forced to come as well." Kurapika spoke up

"Oh? How so?"

"My friend, he wanted me to have  girlfriend even though he, himself doesn't have one." Kurapika sighed as you giggled

"He really cares about you, huh?"

"It seems so. We had been friends for a while now."Kurapika smiled genuinely at the thought of his friends

"And you do too." You smiled warmly

Kurapika looked shocked for a moment before smiling at you. He really cares for his friends, and he doesn't want to lose them.

"Yeah...I really do"

"This seems to be going well than I anticipated." You giggled as Kurapika chuckled with you.

"Yes, I thought it would be awkward with us."

"But we're in the same situation, aren't we?" You said as you leaned on the table

"Hm?"

"We were forced by our friends to attend this blind date."

Kurapika stared at you as he questioned why he felt so relaxed with you. 'It's strange why I'm so relaxed with a stranger.'

"I suppose we are."

You laughed as he stared at you in confusion. 'Why is she laughing?'. When you stopped laughing, the waiter came with your drink. "Thank you." You thanked, as the waiter nodded again before walking away.

"What was so funny?" Kurapika decided to ask you

"Sorry about that. It's just, you still seem formal." You smiled

"What about it?"

"I just found it adorable."

Kurapika blushed as he averted his gaze away from you. The action was adorable that you couldn't help but let out a little squeal.

"You're so cute!"

"I- I take that as a compliment." Kurapika stated still blushing

"It is!"

Kurapika blushed even more at you. 'Why am I even blushing? And what's wrong with my heart?' . You two kept on conversing about random things, making each other blush once in a while. Kurapika surprisingly had a good time talking with you.

"Oh, I think we should call it a day." You suddenly said

"Alright."

"Wait. Can I have your number? I'd like to keep in touch with you." You smiled

"Of course. I would love to have yours too."

You two saved the others number before walking out of the cafe. But before you two separated, you tip toed beside Kurapika, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"W-wha-?! Why did you do that (F/n)?" Kurapika asked, blushing bright red making you giggle again

"You're cute when you're flustered Kurapika." You cooed

"What-?"

"Keep in touch okay?" You smiled at him, before walking away, not letting him respond.

Kurapika stared at your back as you walked away from him. With a blush on his face, he smiled warmly at you, before going to his own way.

'I'm glad I came, If i didn't...I might have never met you (F/n)...'
