A/N: I loathe Lockdown 3.0. I Loathe It With A Passion Known Only To Those Who Have Stared Into The Face Of God And Walked Backwards Into Hell. And Uni too. I hate that as well.

"So, are you going to sulk all the way there?"

"Leave him alone," Zuko sighed. "You've been needling him for hours now."

"I still don't know who you're talking to," Aang said.

"It's Amaya," Zuko said. "Well... her spirit? I don't really understand."

"Pieces of a whole," she said. "The fun pieces, anyway."

"So, you're a spirit but only a piece of the spirit?" Aang frowned. "Is that why I can't see you?"

"The seeing thing I don't get, but the Avatar thing probably explains the hearing," she answered. "You know, the bridge between worlds, spirit stuff."

"Makes sense," Aang shrugged.

"Really?" Zuko said.

"Hey, Mangetsu, what do you think?"

There was no answer from the blond, who was curled up in the saddle with his back to the others.

"Hmm, spikey silence."

"I know I mentioned this earlier, but you've been going at him for hours," Zuko said. "I don't know why, but I thought this thing would be a lot faster."

There was a growl in response from Appa.

"Yikes, dude, you can't just call him a thing. This is Mangy all over again."

"Also, Appa is right that we typically start out our missions with a more upbeat attitude," Aang said cheerfully.

"Yeah, Mangetsu, smile!"

"I can't believe this," Zuko sighed.

"Don't worry; you'll both get the hang of it," Aang said cheerfully.
