It's been a few weeks since I've seen my family, I do, however, text them almost everyday. My dad back hasn't got any better, but it hasn't got worse either. I've finally got a job at the coffee shop down the road, despite my constant procrastinating. I've spoken to Ava and Sam a lot, and we're meeting up tomorrow, along with Hayden, Hayley and Jake.

Speaking of Hayley and Jake, they are officially together now, and I'm pretty sure no one was more excited than me.

Parker and I have been getting closer recently. He's like my little brother. We've been going to his therapy sessions together and he's been handling it surprisingly well, despite the few hiccups along the road—which were expected. The creepy therapist kept staring at us every time although, he hasn't spoken to us since; she's just been staring.

Max has been constantly bugging me to introduce him to Ava. To which I told him that I'll invite her round one day for him to meet her. I just don't want him to scare her off.

Which only leaves Romeo and I. He's been so much more affectionate lately. Randomly holding my hand, keeping an arm around me whenever we go anywhere.

I mean, I'm not complaining—

"Happy birthday, babe", speak of the devil. Romeo walks into our room with his hands behind his back. He was gone when I woke up, but there was a note giving me strict orders to stay in the room. I took that as an opportunity to shower and get dressed into black, long-sleeved body con dress. "You look beautiful", his eyes trail down my body as I put my earrings in. "I'd hug you but my hands are otherwise occupied", I chuckle, walking over to peck him on the lips.

"Can I come downstairs yet?" He shakes his head.

"But I do have something for you to go with your outfit", he shows me what he was hiding behind his back. A black, rectangular box.

"Better not have been expensive", I look up at him before opening the box.

"Do you like it?" He asks, nervously.

"Yeah. I love it, thank you", I take the silver tennis bracelet out of the box, placing the box on the end he of the bed and getting Romeo to help me put it on. I wrap my arms around his neck, kissing him lightly. "It matches", I murmur, referring to his chain around his neck.

"And I also got you this", he grabs a stuffed bear from under his bed.

"Oh my god, you remembered?" I refer to when I bought Brooke's birthday presents and told him I wanted one of the stuffed bears but didn't want to spend his money. He nods, leaning down to press another kiss to my lips.

"I gotta go", he pulls away from the hug when the doorbell rings.

"Who's that?" I ask.

He leans his face closer to mine. "No one", he kisses my nose quickly before turning to leave. "Nosey", he mutters, jokingly as he walks out the door.
