AN: I admit, these chapters are slightly boring but they are just filler chapters. I'll try use their superhero sides more including next chapter.

Human emotions. Everyone is capable of it. Everyone has them. They are the most confusing things ever. Traitorous too. One moment, you're so extremely happy that your favourite characters best friend , cough cough Alison Dilaurentis, is indeed alive but the next she acts like a bitch and you suddenly wish she stayed dead. One moment you bask in the platonic love you share for your best friend and the next, you find it to be something more- wait what?

'That's not how I feel, what am I thinking?' , she attempted to convince herself she wanted to enjoy her friendship with her superfriend. She did not want it to be anything more. It would be weird and ruin their entire friendship! Not that it isn't already ruined by this little stunt she's pulling to make MonEl jealous.

...MonEl...

Maybe she feels this way because of the unrequited love she has for MonEl. She's in an emotional state because her feelings for the daxamite aren't reciprocated so naturally, she moves to the person closest to her. It's not how she really feels!

'Besides, even if I did love him, Barry doesn't feel the same. He'd think I'm crazy and we're better off as friends. That would make things even more awkward if they weren't already' she thought to herself.

"Love is a smoke raised with the love of sighs" she spoke aloud to herself. She knew MonEl would enjoy that quote seeing as he was so invested in that damn Romeo and Juliet book.

That quote only foreshadowed later events in the story though. How Romeo's unrequited love for Rosaline was only a fire that, like all other flames, would soon be extinguished as he would soon spark something with Juliet.

Her love life was a lot like Romeo's in some messed up way. MonEl would be Rosaline and Barry would be Juliet... wait, that doesn't sound right! She doesn't have feelings for the speedster much like Romeo did for Juliet. Maybe Romeo and Juliet was a bad analogy. Besides, it's not like even if Barry and Kara happened that either of them would die.

"I really need to stop overthinking this!" Kara frustratedly groaned, getting off the sofa to head to the kitchen.

"Overthinking what?" Barry asked as he stepped out of Kara's bedroom.

"Huh? Oh Barry! I err... nothing" Kara awkwardly smiled.

"Okay, bacon and eggs?" Barry asked. Kara simply hummed in response.

Barry began to get the ingredients out of the fridge. Kara hopped onto one of the barstools situated at the counter.

"So, where were you last night?" Kara asked, popping a grape into her mouth.

"Hmm?" Barry hummed.

"Oh, I erm... I was just out, you know?"

"Out where?" Kara wondered what response she would get, even though she knew.

"Just a little hillside with the most gorgeous view" Barry replied before muttering "besides you" under his breath, which Kara did not catch.

"So late? What did you do alone for that long?" Kara popped another grape into her mouth.

"Well I wasn't really alone, just with... Lena..."

"Lena huh? You two have been talking a lot" Kara said, more of a question than a statement.

"Yea... well you know... you were busy and... I don't know many people here besides her. And Winn. Your sister I didn't really talk to much last time so I wouldn't include her."
