as presley waited at home, cleaning their house that shouldn't be dirty from only the two living there but it was slightly messy.

the girl suddenly felt a slight pain in her stomach. laying down on the couch the girl took deep breaths trying to make the pain go away. grabbing her phone as the pain increased but then decreased.

dialing corbyn's number she pressed call. "hey, i'm almost home." he answered.

"please hurry up it feels like i'm having contractIONS-" her voice raising as she gained more pain.

"i'm coming just breathe. deep breathes i'm pulling into the driveway." he quickly parked his car and ran inside ending the phone call, helping the girl walk to the car.

"just breathe babe."

"its going away slightly." she replied as she sat in the passenger seat.

they quickly went to the hospital. corbyn helping the girl walk inside. "hey um my girlfriend here is due in a month and is having contractions."

"okay we will get you to a room, but first can i get a name?"

"uh yeah presley sallow."

"yes right here okay we will get you to a room upstairs to be monitored. if you would like a wheel chair, they are right over there and please go to floor 3 on the elevator and there should be someone waiting for you."

the two went up to floor three immediately being brought to a room. "corbyn it hurts a lot" the girl squeezed his hand as she sat on the bed.

the doctor asked her a few questions before walking out. and he soon came back in. "so you aren't in labor, i'm not sure if you are familiar with braxton hicks, but its basically your body preparing for labor."

"its nothing to be concerned about, you may have these up until the week of delivery, but you will definitely be able to tell the difference. typically they only last a hour or two at a time and you can take tylenol to help with the pain but don't take any other pain relievers." the doctor explained, the couple nodding as presley squeezed corbyn's hand in pain.

"okay i'll go grab some for you to take before you go." the doctor walked out and grabbed the pills bringing them back for her to take.

handing the small container with two small pills in it and a cup of water. the girl swallowed them, thanking the doctor. "you should be all set. i will notify your doctor you are going through and just continue with your schedule of appointments."

the couple thanked the doctor one more time before walking out of the room and going back to their car. "you know i realized we should probably pack hospital bags and put the carseat in the car because we were totally unprepared." corbyn told her

"yeah i can pack the bags when we get home and you can put the carseat in here." she responded as he pulled out of the hospital, driving back to their house to do as they planned.

i'm sorry. i just have been super
busy and school has been hard lately

well honestly only pre-calc but it takes up
like half my time when i get home from school.
