Your POV

"Ani," I asked. I was alone in my and Anakin's shared apartment once again, but today was our 3 year anniversary. It was starting to become more of a common thing for me to wake up alone, Anakin already asking for a mission and not seeing if I wanted to be brought along.

The bed felt cold without him there. It made me more sad than angry. I was starting to feel more alone than I ever had felt since meeting Anakin. Even before our secret marriage, Anakin would be at my door with a coffee from my favorite cafe, Coruscant Café.

I sat up in bed, not even motivated to wake up. This was the worst part of the day honestly, waking up in bed alone. Mainly because it meant one of three things; Anakin was called down by Obi-Wan to train, Anakin was called to the High Council Chambers for a meeting (or he just went there voluntarily), or he went to go get me a coffee. The third option was always nice to think about, but it never happened. It hadn't happened in 3 months.

I got up with as much energy as I could muster and grabbed my jedi robes off of Anakin's side of the bed. That's how he showed me that he hadn't forgotten me. He always set out my robes when he left early. I smiled and walked to the bathroom, getting ready for the day.

After about 5 minutes of trying to get my hair to look decent, I just let it fall on my shoulders and sighed.

Walking out of the bathroom, I grabbed the lightsaber from my bedside table and  attached it to my hip, not bothering to wear my jedi cloak today.

I held up my hand in front of my door and used the force to open it, walking out of it in a very bad mood.

"You're just a ray of sunshine today, aren't you?" Obi-Wan asked, sitting next to me. I was sitting at a computer in the Jedi Archives, looking through planet histories.

I cracked a smile for the second time today, easily unfocusing from the computer screen onto Obi-Wan's face. "Sure."

"What's on your mind?" he asked. I knew he suspected it was something to do with Anakin. He knew me and Anakin were married and he thought it was the perfect match, but instead of calling us "a match made in heaven" he called us "a match made in hell." It was because together, we caused the most mischief and always took the dangerous paths through things but we got missions done more quickly that way.

"I woke up in bed alone again. But this time, it hurt. It's me and Anakin's 3 year anniversary. I was at least expecting him to bring me a coffee since he seemed to not be able to stay in bed with me."

Obi-Wan hummed. " I saw him walk out of the High Council Chamber with a huge smile today. So, I went in there to see what the boy was so giddy about and Mace Windu said Anakin had requested the day off."

"Do you know why?" I asked, my brain waking up more from the human interaction I was getting.

"They said that they didn't asked," Obi-Wan said while leaning forwards, looking at the clock on my computer. "I have a meeting in about 15 minutes. I loved chatting with you but I must go."

I nodded and waved to him, watching him walk out of the Jedi Archives. I leaned back in my chair and sighed. What could Anakin possibly be doing with a "day off". Day offs for us jedi meant we couldn't be contacted about missions for the next 24 hours. We had like 3 we could use every month.

As soon as I couldn't hear Obi-Wan's footsteps anymore, my holopad got a message. I opened it and it was a voice message from Anakin.

"Please report back to your quarters, Mrs L/n," he said. He knew that I probably was in the Jedi Archives and people could be listening.

I sat up and started walking out of the Archive. "Bye Y/n," Jocasta Nu waved to me and I waved back with a smile on my face. I didn't like old people but I loved her like a mom.

I walked into my quarters, greeted by a warm hug. I hugged Anakin back tightly. "Oh I missed you Ani."

Anakin smiled against my shoulder and then let go. "Happy 3 year anniversary! I bet you though I had forgotten."

I nodded with a laugh. I looked to our small round table and saw my favorite food on 2 plates. My eyes shot back to Anakin and I grabbed his face, kissing his fervently.

He held my waist and when I pulled away, he had that look on his face. I knew that look.

"Ani, no, our food will get cold, wait till tonight," I begged.

He sighed and nodded his head, leading me to the table and sitting across from me with a smile.

"I love you," he said.

"I love you more."

"No, I'll always love you more."

"Ani, you wanna test that?"

He just nodded.

"Well, I'm sorry, but your dinner's gonna get cold. On the bed, robes off, now."

Please give me requests. I beg you. My small brain can't come up with all of this at once. Halp.
