"What the hell?"

Sorry It's been awhile... I've been struggling recently quite a bit so updating hasn't really been my number one priority. Now to continue:

Dabi wouldn't let me argue as he picked me up, and I tried not to wiggle. Using my quirk in combat tended to tire me out. I could work with water in a fight for hours, but blood tended to make me sick. I knew I was going to pass out. Honestly, if Dabi wanted me dead he would have done it after we finished off the gang members. He could blame it on the fight, but he hadn't so for the time being we were allies in more way than one.

My head pounded into my skull as Dabi walked through the city. I could barely keep my eyes squinted open.

"What the hell were you thinking?"

I try to move my head, but can't. Every word I try to form won't come out. What do you mean? What does it matter to you? Just what?

"You should have ran,"

"That stupid letter Shigaraki gave you is important," he spits out his leaders name, before continuing. "That's what they were after."  I mentally roll my eyes.

"Well, duh," I manage to get out, though it sounds as if I'm dying.

Dabi shakes his head and clutches me tighter as he walks down a back alley. I wince at the contact with my shoulder, I must have not been as thorough as I thought.  He immediately notices and adjusts his grip.

"Can you stand for a second?" he whispers, his breath grazing my ear.

"Yeah, you idiot," though I know I will most likely tumble over. He just grunts in response. Slowly he leans my back to a brick wall, and sets me down. I press my weight against the wall and my legs shake. I manage to glance around though the street lights hurt my head.

"Why are we here?"

Dabi looks at me irritation spread across his face. "I'm not taking you back to your base about to pass out,"  He opens the door he had jammed a set of keys into before scooping me up bridal style once more.  Though I would never admit it, I wouldn't have made it two steps without him carrying me. I lean into him trying to make my weight as easy to carry as possible. He walks up so many stairs that I lose count. Then we reach a flat open floor. He continues to walk and I catch a few glimpses of the area. Then I am slowly lowered onto a bed. Its sheets were cool and I felt him adjust the blankets so that I was comfortable. I can't help but smile tiredly before settling down under the blanket.

"You can't sleep," he says, and I pout my lip.  "Fine, but if you die in your sleep it's not my fault." I I roll my eyes.

I hear him walking around resting my eyes.

"What did I say?" he asks and I squint to seem him standing at the bedside holding something.

"No sleeping," I say though I'm so tired I can barely hear my own whisper form.

"No sleeping." He slides his arm under my back. Lifting me up before sitting down to adjust so that I am partially over his legs. "Let me see your shoulder," I just shift my weight as he takes a knife and slices my sleeve.

"Should I be worried about the knife?" He just grunts in response. I can't keep my eyes open. So I manage to say: "Don't kill me in my sleep, ok?" Before he could respond everything goes black.
