Chapter 27

"Wow, is this for real? Umabot kayo ng isang taon ni Chisel?", April laughed.

"Bakit? Is it impossible for us to celebrate our anniversary?", tanong ko.

Tomorrow is the day! One year of being with Chisel was one of the best years I had in my life. And I am hoping he'd be the one I can spend the rest of my life.

"It's not like that! Back then kasi, I thought his not capable of falling in love! He's so busy with his work. Hindi naman alam na ganito pala ma-in love si Chisel!", she said.

Napailing nalang ako sa taas ng tono ng  boses niya! Nakakahiya tuloy sa paligid namin. Public mall pa naman.

"So.. where are we going?", April asked after a while.

"To the clothe shop!", singit ni Zoey. Mabuti naman at dumating na siya, kanina pa namin siya hinihintay.

"Ang tagal mo!", ani April kay Zoey.

"Oh, sorry. Si Nicholas kasi, eh."

"Why, anong nangyari?", I asked.

"Wala, nagtalo lang saglit. Naayos din naman.", ngumiti siya.

Unlike April na kwentong-kwento ang mga pagtatalo nila ni Ethan, Zoey is different. She's not into telling us her problems. She's that independent. Pero palagi naman namin siyang sinasabihan na magsabi lang siya kung may kailangan siya.

Kami naman ni Chisel, for the past months, never yata kaming nagtalo. Except for the part where I thought he was cheating. I don't know why, but I feel like we are really a match. Everything that I like is what he likes, too! If I say 'no', he'll say 'no', too.

Naglakad na kami at sumakay sa escalator. Nasa 2nd floor pa raw kasi yung clothes department. 

"What do you think of this?", Zoey asked, showing me a green long sleeves dress.

"What? Huwag 'yan! Show some skin! Ang manang naman niyan eh!", April rebutted.

Napakamot ako sa noo ko, naloloka ako kay April!

Umirap si Zoey habang ibinabalik ang damit sa lalagyanan nito. Wala naman siyang magagawa e.

Nagpatuloy lang kami sa paglibot sa mall, may mga pagkakataon pa na hinahatak kami ni April papunta sa shoes department. Ang dami kong ng sapatos! Mas lalo na siya!

"April! Si Sab ang may date! Hindi ikaw! Anong oras na kaya?", mataray sa saway ni Zoey kay April dahil nasa mga heels na kami. Which is what I don't need right now.

I just need a dress for tonight but we are taking too long to look for it! 4 hours, really?

I looked at my wrist watch and knew that its nearly 4pm. Kaya pala nakakaramdam na ako ng gutom, hindi pa kami nagme-meryenda.

"What? I just saw this pair of shoes! Buy this Sab!", Iniaabot sa'kin ni April ang pink heels, totally ignoring Zoey's words.

Ganito talaga siya pagdating sa pag-shopping. A non-stop shopper girl.

"Kunwari ka pa," tumawa ako. "Sige na, bilhin mo na 'yan, sasabihin mo pang bilhin ko dahil bagay sa'kin, tapos bukas makalawa, hihiramin mo nang hihiramin. Hahaha!"

"You know me too well, Sab!", April cheered.

Nakita ko ang pag-iling ni Zoey sa gilid. She really looks like our mom!

Minutes passed, finally! We ate inside the food court..

"Every time he'd wake up early in the morning, crying.. I was there! Yung daddy niya tulog, kaya ako ang magpapatahan sa kanya, pero nakakaselos kasi hindi ko siya mapatahan! In the end, Ethan will wake up just to make Edward from crying!", April said.
