More hours went by, as both parties were into something.

Jeremy was like an intrigued gakusei listening to the life lessons and storytelling of his sensei, as Tina had his undivided attention.

Regardless of him being straight up rejected by her, he couldn't help but still have a lot of love and respect. for her. At least, she kept it real. She could've just lied and used him.

"She's mine," Tina started, as Jeremy grinned.  "I know she is. She will see it. The crazy thing is...I still wonder why her. I'm still astonished on how it all took place, too."

With the way Tina was smiling and expressing her feelings about Dee-Dee, Jeremy could see the love in her eyes. He could tell that she was being genuine.

"All it took was one...one sexual encounter with her well before all those other ones and as my mom would say I'm head over heels over her," Tina said. "When it comes to Dee-Dee, I feel like Miss Celie to Shug. She's like honey, and I'm like a bee."

    The both laughed

"Aye, that was a classic," Jeremy said, as he smiled and pointed over at her.
"I know right?" She asked, as he nodded his head, and she laughed again before she sighed. "Out of all the men that has been in and out of me, I fall in love with a damn woman, not just any woman...my best friend."

She smiled and shook her head.

"God really does work in mysterious ways," Tina said, as she grinned. "They always said that it's somebody out there for everybody, and yeah...that's true, but sometimes they can be right under our noses, and we ain't even know it."

Jeremy didn't know why but hearing that he couldn't help but smile all the while being wonderous about his own soulmate.

He always felt like he might end up with Tina, but he wasn't exactly fully confident in it. Knowing what he knows now, that lack of confidence makes a hell of a lot more sense.

"Dasia is my soulmate," she said, again.
"I hate to sound like pessimist asshole if I do," he said, honestly. "Please let me know, baby, because I'm not trying to be negative."
"You can't be anymore negative than I have already been to myself about this," Tina said, as she grinned. "But carry on, Jay."
"Okay uh...I know these things takes patience, and love happens on its own, " He started, as Tina nodded her head in agreement. "What happens if she doesn't...if she doesn't feel the same way?"
"Life goes on," she said, nonchalantly, with a shrug. "Of course I would be tore up about it in my feelings for the first few days, but time heals all wounds, and there will be other fishes in the sea. That ballplayer would have me to make him happy or possibly her happy. Until that happens, I am still confident that Dee-Dee is and will be my soulmate."
"You know what?" He started. "I really hope she can wake her ass up soon, because she just doesn't know the kinda blessing that's waiting on her."

       Tina laughed.

"Aww," She said, as she was smiling big.
        "Am I right?" He asked.
"Hell's yeah," she said with a confident smile, as she flipped her hair, again. "Aww...poor Trevor, though. He seem like he really liked her."
"His ass will be alright," Jeremy said with an eyeroll. "Like you said, there are more fishes in the sea. I'll deal with him."
"Thank you for understanding," she said, as she smiled and intertwined their fingers together.
"It was my pleasure," he said, honestly, as they pecked and hugged.
"Speaking of Trevor, where is he?" She asked, as they pulled apart. "I didn't see him when I came in earlier. Is he here?"
"Yeah, he's probably just asleep or downstairs stuffing his face," Jeremy said with a shrug. "That boy can eat."
