Chapter Fifty-Five

"I will be the one in charge in this war and everyone is to listen to me."

Strong and resolute yet gentle and kind. It is how my beautiful mate is as she directly orders every Alpha in the world that she will be in charge of the war.

Look how magnificent my love is.

As magnificent as the queen that she is.

"Girl. Just who are you to talk to us like that. We understood and went here to seek the guidance of your mate but I will never agree with what you said, little Luna." I hear some raspy voice say.

I take a glance at the speaker and see a middle age Alpha. His strength is alright but it is not worth mentioning. As to what pack he is leading, I couldn't care less.

However, as to the way he talks to my mate... I have to say something about it.

How dare he talk to my Lilly like that?

I start to summon my power to crush that ant's confidence into pieces. He immediately feels my threatening aura and he visibly flinches and starts to sweat. However, Lilly grips my hand softly which interrupts my plan.

As to why she did it, of course it is to remind me that she can handle this thing herself. Since my mate is decided, then all I have to do is to let her do whatever she wants. Because of that, I stopped sending oppressive aura and just gave a glare to that disrespectful piece of a bug.

"This Alpha, it's not that I am undermining your capabilities. But it is I who can best lead this group in this war." My cute mate says.

Her voice is full of confidence and authority as if she is doing something that she knows like the back of her palm.

"Pffffffft." A single laugh from someone managed to create a series of laughs from the group. Still, some of the smarter Alphas look serious.

What the hell are these slowpokes doing? Didn't they just feel how their wolves automatically followed the will of my mate?

Didn't they also see how she used her power when she swept off the ground of the ashes of the thousands of burnt wolves?

These alphas are not just slowpokes.

They are.. super slowpokes.

But since Lilly wants to handle it herself, all I can do is send them a death glare which makes several of them flinch.

"You laughing at this time make it obvious that you do not have the idea of how serious things are." Lilly's soft comment hasn't stopped the laughing of these bugs. However, some of those laughs turn into a sneer. These are probably from the guys who clearly realize that they are helpless if they are attacked by the werelikes.

"What do you, a little girl, know about this? As I have heard you were but someone who doesn't have a wolf and in the bottom of the chain before your mate has arrived. I also heard that you were ordered not to lift your head and meet anyone's eyes because you were considered a disgrace in your pack. And now you are telling us that you, a little girl who's an abomination to her pack, knows more than us, alphas? You are delusional." The same Alpha sneers at Lilly.

"How dare you speak to our Luna that way!" A loud shout is heard on the side of the group where the other werewolves are gathered.

Ethan stands up and the cripples of wind are starting to be visible surrounding him.

Ah. This kid is so hasty. The other pack members will get hurt if he starts to unleash his powers there.

I send a look to Tristan who immediately stands up and grabs Ethan's shoulder.

However, once Ethan has calmed down his power, Tristan sends a death glare to the alpha and slowly unleashes his black aura.

"Where did you get that information from?" Tristan's creepy and threatening aura is slowly being released. This has made that big step back.

Information within the Black Mist Pack is not easily obtained. It is a rule that no one should talk about the pack matters outside the pack. That bug knowing about Lilly's situation means that he either sent a spy on us or a member has told him about it.

If it is found out that he sent a spy, then he will be announced as enemy of the pack. His life and his pack's lives will be in danger.

So, the only way for him to get out of this disaster is to tell the name of the pack member who told him about the information.

Clearly, a member has blurted this out to him. Looking at his capabilities, he isn't able to send a strong spy capable of spying us, the strongest pack in the world.

"I.. it's not spying. Analise once came to the house. She told us about the Luna." See? He blurts it out instantly.

Analise, isn't that my mate's sister?

"Why was she in your house?" Tristan continues to interrogate.

"She.. is affiliated with my son." The bug answers.

Soon, a series of murmur came from my pack.

"It's not true! I'm not affiliated with your son! I didn't say anything to you about Lilly!" A girl sobs. I turn my head and find Lilly's sister sobbing. Tears are non stop flowing down her face.

Ha! Does she want to be pitied? She clearly informs others about pack matters and intentionally implicated Lilly for s few times now. Still, she got the guts to act like the main character of a drama who is being wrongly accused?

Honestly, she looks like a clown.

Suddenly, I feel a fluctuation on the beautiful bundle in my arms.

Of course, she will react like this.

The queen, being ignored, being questioned, being insulated.

I take a step back, a smile can't help but form on my lips.

"This is a mess. It seems like I have left for a really long time that not even my subjects remember who I am." Lilly softly says. But this time, her voice is overlapped with a magnificent and magical voice.

Her wolf, Althea, has come out.

The two of them both speaking simultaneously sounds so amazingly beautiful.

Soon, the wolves inside of everyone start to tremble.

Even I feel tremors inside of me.

My heart quivers since I have never felt my wolf, Erim, since a long time ago.
