Tinanghali ako ng gising kinaumagahan, kung hindi ako kinatok ni manang ay baka tulog pa ako hanggang ngayon, that's because I saw him yesterday that I felt so lighted after that, I even sound sleeping, ganoon kapanatag at kapayapa ang gabi ko.

"Good morning Princess"

Hindi pa ko nakakababa ng hagdan ay narinig ko na ang bati ni Daddy. I automatically smiled but it quickly faded as I familiarize the woman beside him. Nagtama ang tingin namin, mainit na ngumiti siya sa akin, iniwan pa ang paglalagay ng vegetable salad sa pinggan ni Daddy para daluhan ako.

"What do you want for breakfast?" I watch her reach for pancakes.

I shifted on my sit, tinignan ko si Kuya na nakakunot ang noo habang umiinom ng kape. "Good morning Kuya. Good morning Daddy"

Tumango lang si Kuya sa akin at pinagpatuloy ang ginagawa.

Ngumisi ako.

"What are your plan for today? Hmmm?" Si Mommy na nagsasalin ng fresh milk sa baso ko "Do you want to go shopping, samahan kita... or you have some plans with your friends?"

"Daddy?"

Di ko sinagot si mommy at bumaling kay Daddy, his eyes lingered to mom before it went down to look at me. Hindi ko alam kung anong reaksiyon ni mommy pero kahit ano pa iyon ay nawalan na ko ng interes pang alamin.

"Am I allowed to go out? Wala na po bang media sa labas?"

"Wala na princess, binayaran na ng kuya mo.

Napaisip ako.

"Do we have that enough money to pay them?" I know that we are rich but with all the problems our family have face, It's not impossible to be broke at this moment, besides I've heard from the news that our company is in bankruptcy. Did Kuya save it? But can he do that? Within a year?

Kuya shot his brows. He look at me with a scowl on his face as if I insulted him.

What? I'm just telling the truth.

I cleared my throat, "I mean the money is not a problem but... ummm.." I swallowed as I saw him puckered his lips, waiting for me talk more. I awkwardly smiled "We don't have to do that, I'm fine. Titigil din sila kapag may bagong issue or scandal na mapagtutuunan ng pansin"

"Princess don't worry yourself about the money." Si Daddy.

"So, you're saying that we should wait for another issue to rise up and use it as cover on our own?" Kuya pointed out meaningfully.

My lips parted. "Uhmm Yeah... but what I'm saying is that we don't have to spend just for that"

"We can't wait for that long. You need to be back in school and continue your life as soon as possible and help me with our business."

"What? Kuya? I'm not ready..." my eyes went down, I feel so down and pressured at the same time. I'm not confident to face them casually and it feels like I'm missing something, there's something within me that want to look back. Its maybe because I didn't have the chance to bid my goodbyes with the people I left in Isla Nalangan. I want to thank them for everything, love, friendship and care, if only I have a choice, then I will choose to stay with them but I can't so the least I could do is to have a moment with them.

One last moment with them, no rush.

"Nasa third year ka na, wait a little bit and you can help me with our business. I can assign you to our company in Laguna or Iloilo, pwede kang maging CEO doon but as of now you can help in our business here." My jaw drop as I watch him talk. I couldn't process his words. Masyadong mabilis at mabigat ang mga salita niya para maintindihan ko. And did I heard him right? Iloilo? Is that too far for me.
