15. [30DWC - June 2020] Day 5 : Thunder-Kihyun

You asked lowly, "What is wrong with you?"

He, Kihyun, stayed silent, minding his own business.

This has been going on for about 6 days. For 6 days, he came home late, barely said anything, barely acknowledging your existence, ignoring your statements, and doing whatever he wants. His usual sentences were, "I;m taking a shower," sometimes, "I'm going to bed," or nothing at all. At first, you thought, "Oh, maybe he's tired, or maybe he had a rough day." And you always shrugged it off, and ended up forgiving him. Even if he quote unquote pushed you away whenever you showed affection.

But, you felt so done with his acts. And now, like how he usually acts, he ignored you and your question. He was walking in and, as described, minding his own business. You asked if he had eaten or not, but you didn't get his answer. It's pretty funny, how you hoped to hear an answer, when he probably doesn't even know you existed in that room.

And so, after building up all the courage inside you, you lowly asked, "What is wrong with you?"

No response.

"KI-"

"Ugh.. I swear to God, Y/N, JUST FUCK OFF," he yelled at you.

His words left you speechless. There you stand in-front of him, staring in disbelief. Disappointment. Sadness. Frustration.

You sighed, taking your phone, wallet, and car keys. He then realized what he did and realized what's about to happen. As you walked out, you heard Kihyun yell your name and a bunch of, "sorry"s. You couldn't help but feel heartbroken. Too heartbroken to answer him. You felt like you needed some time alone. You figured that you couldn't cast him out in the middle of the night, so, you walked out from the room and to the door.

"Y/N, wait, please," you heard him choke out, "Please, I'm sorry!"

You didn't even spare him a glance and shut the door right in his face. You couldn't help but hold your tears back, but it became harder to do as you stepped outside the building and walked to your car.

You stepped into the car and drove off aimlessly. Not knowing where to go. As you drove away, you started to notice the droplets falling from the sky.

"Am I this pathetic? Even the sky started crying for me," you thought to yourself. You then pulled over and parked when you saw a fast food restaurant.

Turning off the machine, you slumped back on your seat and took a deep breath.

"Holy shit," you whispered as you closed your eyes, letting a single tear roll down on your cheek. You opened your eyes as you heard the loud sound of ringtone killing the moment.

"❤️✨"

At the very second you read who the caller is, you pushed the red button, declining the phone call. And to do the job once and for all, you powered off your phone and set it somewhere.

You sighed placing your feet across and onto the passenger seat, leaning on the car door. You cried with the sky, letting your feelings out, alongside with the thunder who shows up occasionally, joining the melancholy madness, without Kihyun knowing anything but his wrongs.
