"Thank you, sir."
The man gave Third a salute after he gave a cash to the staff. Pagkababa namin sa private jet ay dumiretso agad kami rito sa parking lot para makauwi na straightly.
"Why cash?" I curiously asked. Sinundan ko pa ng look ang guy na may tulak-tulak na push cart before ko binaling ang atenttion ko kay Third.
"He doesn't have a bank account, nor want a pay cheque. It's just anyway a tip." Third was still busy loading the car.
"Are you even allowed to give?"
Tinaasan ako ni Third ng kilay. "I can't?"
I checked the surrounding. Nanlaki ang mata ko when I saw a CCTV sa likod ni Third. "There's a CCTV there!" Napatingin agad si Third sa likod niya to follow my pointing. He easily averted his gaze na parang wala siyang pakialam. Tumawa pa siya.
"Babe, what if they saw!"
"The operator must be sleeping right now."
"What if the team performs a re-play and watches?"
"They wouldn't unless there are missing answers they need to find."
"But, what if, there is?"
Third glanced at me. "Nakaalis na tayo."
"Babe!"
He chuckled. "You're philosophical mind is stressing you again."
"But.. really! Tho I'm glad you gave Kuya a tip, it's gonna be unhelpful for him if he loses his job because of certain.. disobeyed... restrictions... Kawawa naman..."
Tumigil na muna si Third sa ginagawa para intindihin ako. "Why are you so bothered?"
"Because..."
"It's okay, alright? He won't lose his job. I've done that before." Nasara niya na ang compartment.
"But-" Inakbayan ako ni Third. I thought papasakayin niya na ako sa car pero niyakap niya ako.
"Stop worrying now, okay? I understand you're worried and uncomfortable, but, believe me. It's just perfectly fine.. at least no one's gonna die if I do it again. And stop thinking about CCTV. It probably didn't even catch my hand when my back is waving at them."
"Aye, cuz you're so big," I laughed at his chest.
"Oh, yeah?" his voice was hoarse.
I stopped laughing, forming to think of something.
