1 year later..
"SPRING HAS SPRUNG BITCHES! AND BY SPRING I MEAN O F F S P R I N G!"
Nothing like running through the streets of Tokyo at night.
Well..mostly running. I really needed to get a car, cause this whole delicate condition thing was leaving me winded after just a couple steps. I'd been running and stopping and running and stopping and running and stopping for ten minutes, eager to run from the gynecologist I'd just left to share some amazing news with Yuji.
At first, I thought I was too excited to sit down in a bus or take a taxi, but now that I was sitting in my own puddle of sweat and still 20 miles away from the auditorium my husband was currently performing at, I was starting to have second thoughts.
Swatting away a guy who tried to come over and check on me, I reached for my phone and dialed my driver's number. When he finally picked up after a couple rings, I tried to suck in a breath to speak, but I couldn't get much out immediately.
"H...help..."
"Mrs. Oshiro? Are you alright?! Is it an emergency?!" Mr. Murasaki's voice rose with alarm and I mentally kicked myself for starting the call off like that.
"No, I'm alright.. just tired I...I need you to take me to Yuji's concert!"
"Oh dear..did you get good news again and try and run and tell the whole city..."
"Mr. Murasaki MOVE YOUR ASS!"
In a mere 10 minutes, a car pulled up next to me and I was in the backseat before Mr.Murasaki could waste time getting out to help me. I buckled myself in and blurted the news out before he could ask.
