After her only guardian passes away, a childish 20 year old woman named Momoko moves to Tokyo city to start learning how to live independently. While Momoko adapts to adult life in the city and struggles with living expenses, she dreams about start...
🤤"Wah! Oh my goodness! All of this food looks so good!"
Moments after getting into Yuji's car, I'm sitting in his glamorous high class apartment being served by a young professional chef at his glass dining room table. Yuji quizzed me on every single one of my favorite dishes and relayed the list to the chef. Less than an hour later, the chef brought a giant meal out for me to eat!
"Thank you for the food! It's like something right out of a picture! You're so talented, sir..." I place my hands together in my before-meal-prayer and look up at the chef gratefully. He didn't look like a chef in the slightest -- at least not by his face. If he didn't have on his clean white uniform, I would have thought he was another idol like Yuji!

He had light, smooth brown hair under his white hat, and a few ear piercings here and there from what I could see before his hair covered his skin. I could tell by his toned chest peeking out from under his clothing that he was pretty muscly, too! And my, was he tall! He at least had about 6 inches on Yuji. I looked up into his warm brown eyes and felt like melting when he smiled back at me tenderly.
😍Oh my goodness, is he a charmer! Who knew chefs could be so hot!
"My name is Ren Kawaguchi, Miss Miwa. And it's such a pleasure to bring a smile like that to a lovely face."
I feel giggly all of a sudden. My goodness, I had just arrived in Japan and here I was in the presence of such beautiful men!
"May I call you Ren?" I say as sweetly and as flirtatious as I can, and the brilliant chef smiles even wider, an instant heart melting attack on any woman. I felt my heart flutter knowing I still had my girlish charms that I had used to my advantage back in high school!
"Why of course!"
☺️"You can call me Momoko! I never did like honorifics--"
😠"Would you two stop flirting already so this weird woman can eat her meal!" Yuji placed his hands on the table, standing in between Ren and I, to my annoyance.
"Geez, for someone being hospitable, you sure are pushy." I pick up my fork and stab my steak to start cutting it in tiny, individual pieces.
Ren chuckles a bit, husky and sweet, "Isn't he? But Yuji can be really sweet sometimes..he gets so shy and awkward that all he can do is blurt out insults."
Upon hearing this, Yuji's smooth cheeks turn a bright shade of red and his eyes find something to stare at in order to shift his gaze from me, "S-Shut up, Ren..." he reaches for his hair and starts to ruffle it with frustration.
I find myself giggling at Yuji's awkwardness, amused by his confusing personality. You didn't meet interesting guys like this out in the country. And I also really loved how close Ren seemed to Yuji...it was like they were friends since childhood.
