After her only guardian passes away, a childish 20 year old woman named Momoko moves to Tokyo city to start learning how to live independently. While Momoko adapts to adult life in the city and struggles with living expenses, she dreams about start...
Harumi and I part ways after getting our nails done together. I'm alone as I once was on the first day of me arriving in Tokyo just three days ago. It feels great to take a deep breath and relax, knowing I really made it. I had a job, a home, friends. There was still plenty for me to get used to, but oh well! It was going amazingly so far!
Can you see me now, grandma? Mom? Dad? I'm sure we were all worried I'd end up on someone's couch with no job!
I grin and look up longingly at the sky. My parents had passed away a long time ago when I was a baby. My grandmother told me they were traveling to a foreign country, leaving me in her care when they both contracted a deadly amoeba. By the time they went to the hospital, it was too late.
At least I didn't remember them that much. It hurts a lot less not having memories to hold on to. My grandmother died a very short while ago, leaving me behind and alone in the world. I couldn't take living in the country anymore and decided to move here, where I could be surrounded by people...whether it be strangers or friends, I didn't want to feel the slightest bit lonely.

The faces of the people I had already encountered flash through my mind and the sadness I felt from my previous thoughts seemed to melt away. I smiled. I hadn't felt lonely in awhile thanks to them.
As I'm walking down the sidewalk, I come across the street I had gone down when I met Yuji. Thinking about it made me laugh. I hurriedly head back to the flower shop and see everything had been cleaned up from when the two of us had dirtied the display area. 💐🌼🌻🌺🌸🌷🌹💐🌼🌸🌺🌹🌷💐🌼🌻💐

I'd better go in and apologize...at least buy a few pots of flowers while I'm at it. My apartment could use the color!
I pull open the door and am instantly overcome with a lovely aroma. There are flowers arranged all over the place from vases to pots. The roof was made completely of glass, illuminating the shop to provide the flowers and plants with gorgeous sunlight. The light flooding in from the roof felt so good on my skin with a mixture of the slightly low indoor temperature, making me feel so nostalgic.
It was oddly quiet in here...Which was surprising! There should be tons of people here trying to claim these gorgeous flowers!
Now why would a flower shop be empty on a beautiful day like this...It doesn't close until late today..
"Excuse me!" I called, walking into one of the isles. When I couldn't find anyone, I stepped out of it and headed into a new one. I spotted a cute Venus flytrap and headed over to it with an excited squeak. They were so adorable to me!
Shuck.
I heard the sound of a door opening and turned around, walking back toward the entrance of the isle. Just before I could reach it, someone walks by carrying a giant flower pot over his face, headed into another isle. I approach him curiously, wondering why he hadn't heard me.
"Hey! Excuse me!" I turn into the aisle and follow him, trying my best to try and see his face.
Could he be deaf?
My question is answered as soon as I notice the white buds in his ears and the cord trailing down to the phone in his pocket.
Why would you have your headphones in while running a shop...?
I decided to stand still with my hands on my hips, anticipating him turning around once he's finished with his task in the isle. And man does it take forever! He sets down the pot, adjusts the flower arrangement, and then stands there with his back to me staring at it for over 2 minutes!

For a brevity of a second, I consider tapping his shoulder, but I felt like it would scare him a lot more, listening to his heart thumping rock music and then feeling someone touch him. It was probably best that he just turn around to see me and not be startled as much.
Without warning, the young man stiffly whirls around, silver hair whipping about from the motion. His eyes trail from the ground to his path and then finally to me, who was in his way!
😱"Whoa! Oh my god!" His alarmingly gorgeous gray eyes are as wide as saucers when they see me. He jumps, nearly toppling backwards in his shock. His hand flies to his chest as if to keep his heart from leaping out from the alarm.
I immediately feel guilty and throw my hands up in surrender. First I had destroyed his precious display items, took off before making an apology (not that I could really control it that much), and then scare the soul out of the poor guy while he's at work.
"I'm so sorry! I--"
"You!" His expression turns sour -- such a handsome guy shouldn't make such an angry face, "Scared the hell out of me." He hurriedly takes his headphones out of his ears and folds his arms over his chest, eyes piercing into me.
"I'm really sorry about that. Speaking of apologies..My name is--"
"Momoko Miwa. I know who you are." His eyes become even sharper. "You're the idiot girl who knocked over my plants the other day!"
