Sighing, I leaned against a wall and looked boredly into the crowd.
Bright, colorful lights were flashing up everywhere, while deafening music blasted up to the farthest corner of the house.
The bass alone was so loud, it felt like the furniture was shaking, the upbeat dancing of countless teenagers only adding to it.

I had lost my friends in the cro
wd for a while now, but wasn't really looking for them anyways.
Before we had come here together, I had actually been in a pretty great party mood, but after less than an hour it had already faded away.

I loved going to parties and having fun with the girls, but I had already lost all energy the last few days and definitely underestimated my own body.
Although I was physically okay, my social battery was just completely empty.
With that attitude of mine I knew I would only ruin their evening.

Biting my lip, I looked down at my phone, turning it on to show my bright display.
No messages, I should have expected that. Just a few minutes ago I had texted Donghyuck, hoping we might talk a little so he could take my mind off the whole chaos around me.
Unfortunately, he hadn't answered me back yet, so I turned the display off again, disappointed.

'Don't you ever think before acting?' I scolded myself in my mind, frustrated that I had even come along here in the first place.
If it were up to me, I would have reached for the alcohol bottle long ago, but since I had pumped myself up with pain killeres, that seemed like more of a bad idea.

Bored, I rested my head against the wall behind me and ran my fingers through my long black hair.
Yup, no white wig or anything, just my straight raven black hair.

At the beginning, I was appropriately going to go as Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones, but after I was already fully dressed, Momo had been frantically babbling after energetically typing on her cell phone.

She had told me that she couldn't stand the way I looked, threw my dress and wig back into my clauset and had forced me into another "costume".

It wasn't really a costume, but even though I didn't want to, I hadn't really been able to stand up against my best friend.
In the end I wore a white, slightly tighter dress, a small black handbag with a fake gun in it and matching white high heels, which were already getting on my nerves.

I guess I was now a secret agent or something like that, not quite sure to be honest.

Not able to stand this boredom any longer, I finally gave and tapped around on my display until a certain name popped up: 'Donghyuck'.

Before I could think back and forth, I already looked for a quieter place in the house, hoping that I would at least have some privacy and peace there.
With tons of strangers running around or kissing tho, I decided to just stand in a hallway instead of taking the risk and accidentally interrupting someone during a heavy make out session.
