Chapter 26

"Look at me when I'm fucking talking to you!"

Before I could even react, his hand grabbed my wrist harshly and yanked it in his direction.
I slightly hissed as he twisted my arm so much that a sudden pain rushed trough my nerves and caused my pen to slip out off my fingers. 

I heard it hit the ground, but I didn't dare to look away.

Instead, I glared at him contemptuously while the eyes of the students were now stuck to us.
The fire inside me grew bigger with every second, just waiting to rage and go bad shit crazy.

"If you don't let go of me right now, I'm going to break your god damn nose," I growled at him threateningly but calmly and could hear the other students gasp alarmed.

"Is she crazy?"

"No way she just said that..."

"This won't end well."

I skillfully ignored the whispers of the other students and only continued staring into Donghyuck's cold brown eyes.

"Maybe you should do what I tell you from now on," he barked back, a slight grin creeping into his face as he licked his lower lip.

"Only in your dreams."

I forcefully tried to free myself from his grip, but it only grew stronger and made me yelp in pain once again.

"I'll say this one last time: Let. The fuck. Go."

"Or else what? Like you can do anything."

I narrowed my eyes and clenched my right fist at his words.

There it was, another assumption of me being weak, another person to make it onto the list of people who think I'm not capable of anything.

It made me angrier than before and I could sense the feelings I had bottled up this mornig slowly creeping up, finding their way to the surface.
The situation left the impression of two bosses meeting, their aura threatening and suffocating.

"Do not challenge me."

The tingling of my body was now more intense and my uninterruptedly racing heart ensured that I completely blacked out all my surroundings except Lee Dong-fucking-hyuck.

I didn't notice the teacher who had come through the door and looked confusedly in our direction. I just felt the fiery sensation like my own blood was burning me from the inside out.

"Bet," it left Donghyuck's rosy lips, his dirty grin only getting bigger.

Before the teacher could interrupt both of us, I had already jumped up from my seat and reached out with my arm.

The boy in front of me didn't have the time to react and sooner than he realized, my fist landed with a tremendous force in his face.

I had hit him as hard as I could and watched  Donghyuck immediately let go of my left wrist, falling backwards off his own chair.

His body made a hard acquaintance with the ground, the student now groaning in pain, holding his own throbbing nose.

For a short moment it felt as if time had stopped.

Silent students who did not dare to move or breathe, a shocked teacher who stared at us with eyes wide open and a whining boy whose nose started bleeding right away.

It didn't take long before our teacher regained his composure and angrily slammed his palm on the table, attracting the attention of all the students.

"Min Sunghee and Lee Donghyuck, to the principal's office!"
