How did things come to this? Reiner and Bertholdt were our friends. I can't believe they've been our enemies this whole time?
~flashback~
"Sophie, you coming to the fire?" Reiner walks over to me as I finish washing Ymir's uniform.
"What fire?" I ask him curiously.
"Some of us are going to make a little camp fire after dark," he helps me hang up my wet clothes.
"Oh... yeah that sounds fun. Where is it?"
"Just over in the forest we use for training," he points his thumb behind him.
"I'll be there," I smile at him.
Taking my tan jacket with the cadet symbol on it, I pin it to the clothes line and leave it to dry. Reiner leans over and grabs another jacket from the bucket.
"You don't have to help," I laugh. "I lost a game of cards so this was my punishment."
"Well this is a lot of clothes for one person," he smirks.
"Is it because I'm a girl and you don't think I can do it?" I turn to the tall blonde and put my hand in my hip.
"N-no! It's because there's laundry for six people here and it would take forever to hang by yourself! Not because you're a chick! In fact you're not even like a girl- I mean! Ah shit!"
I start laughing uncontrollably at him and he just scratches his head, trying to ignore the deep pink tint to his cheeks.
"I'm just playing," I punch his arm. "But what do you mean I'm not a girl?"
"I just meant because you're really laid back and cool... plus you don't really act like all those bratty chicks. In fact Eren seems more girly than you."
"Well I'll take that as a compliment," I smile at him.
"You should..." he clips the jacket to the line.
~end~
I don't believe he's that good of an actor. There has to be some good in Reiner. And Bertholdt. We just have to dig deep and make them come to their senses.
My Titan legs drop down to the ground and I let go of the wall. My nails are bleeding from the friction of falling, but they begin to steam right away and regenerate.
I hope everyone is okay up there... The last thing I want is for someone to get hurt by these guys. Mikasa is still up there, I think she can handle whatever might come up.
My eyes travel up the wall, I see Hange and the rest of the squad attacking the Colossal Titan. I see Bertholdt let off an abundance of hot steam. I forgot he could do that...Armin is with Hange and those two have the best minds I've ever seen. It'll be fine.
Bringing my attention back to my own fight, I see Eren get punched right in the jaw by the armored Titan. Right away, my brothers body is launched through trees and he collapses to the ground.
What do we know about the armored Titan other than his skin being solid? He's fast.... Very agile. Usually I'd say technique would beat him, but one hit from him could knock my head off.
Eren doesn't get up. I set some distance between myself and the other Titan. My movements catch his attention and he faces towards me.
My hands tighten into fists, arms up in a defensive stance. If he wasn't holding back during our training, it means he's not too good with hand-to-hand combat. He has to rely on brute strength.
