I couldn't look at them steadily but I chuckled and breathed out as I gently fanned the hem of my jersey, I was busy answering the questions of today's reporter on court.

"How do you feel that you're the Player of The Week again?" the reporter asked gleefully.

I took a deep breath with a smile, lumapit ako lalo dahil hindi ko marinig ang sariling boses sa ingay ng arena.

"I'm honestly surprised!" I shake my head a little. "I don't really have my best stance since I got injured last league—"

"Was that against Brentdale University?"

I nodded. "Yeah, I'm still in a bad shape. I was just doing my best to be careful with my movements for the past games of this year's University League. Being Player of The Week again surprised me a lot but I'm really really happy!"

I've been a consistent best player of every game last University League, it was really overwhelming. Ngayon ang unang week ng liga at hindi ko inasahang ako ang magiging Player of The Week dahil maingat na akong maglaro kumpara noong nakaraang liga na wala pa akong injury pang inaalala.

Still overwhelming. Sadly, I got injured when we were playing against Brentdale.

The reporter smiled and nodded.

"Many people are curious if you're gonna continue your career in basketball right after you graduate college?"

My brows shot up at the question, I let her continue.

"Of course, you'll surely leave Rockwell University, right? And we're already expecting that you are getting a lot of offers to join their teams even though you're still a college student!"

Ilang beses kaya iyang maitatanong sa akin? Magulo pa ang isip ko roon, Mom's expecting me to help her manage their businesses after finishing college.

I timidly chuckled. "I can't answer that yet, maybe, I'll get my mind clear after graduating. For now, I just wanna focus on the University League until the finals with my teammates!"

I could hear my teammates teasing me about it!

Marami talagang offers sa akin kahit hindi pa ako graduate sa Rockwell, some of them are convincing me try-out and train with them so that after college—I can join their team.

"Alright!" the reporter cheered. "Thank you so much, our Player of The Week, Mavis Bolivar! Congratulations on winning today!"

I just smiled and nodded at the camera before they cut it, nakipagkamay sa akin iyong reporter. I'm not sure of her name but she's already known, I accepted her hand quickly and thanked her.

"Thank you, Mavis!" she smiled.

"No problem, thank you rin!" sambit ko.

Mukhang chinese, I also remember her singing on Rockwell's foundation day last time!
