I taught him the basics of basketball like the dribbling and how to hold the ball to shoot so he could have a better angle and pulse.

I really find it amusing when he's talking about music and how he's writing lyrics to make a song.

Isn't it hard? Kaya siguro frustrated siyang matuto sa ibang bagay.

"You don't need to learn the rules and violations, right?" I asked simply while watching him.

"Rules? Like what?"

"Rules, like sa steps! There will be a violation when you took steps while holding the ball. You cannot run or even step more than one without dribbling it." I shrugged.

It was amusing in a funny way. Maybe, he doesn't really watch basketball even on television and leagues. He's not interested in sports!

I wonder about the other band members, matanong nga...

"Ah! I know that!"

I creased my forehead. "Alam mo na?"

"May tawag diyan, nakalimutan ko." Naiiling niyang sabi habang nag-iisip.

I crossed my arms against my chest. "Traveling."

He snapped his fingers and looked at me with an amused grin.

"Yeah, that! I heard it when my friends were playing Xbox but I don't really care how it was a violation. Nanonood lang ako at namamangha 'pag may nakaka-shoot na player."

Hindi ko napigilan ang tawa. "You really thought it was all about the shooting?"

"Yup, the ball should reach the rim and a point counted for the team. May mga violations at rules pa pala." Napapatango niyang sabi.

"That's not all about the points, of course. Every sport has rules and violations! Wala bang rules sa pagba-banda?" kuryoso kong pag-iiba.

"I think basic rules as common sense only."

I lifted my arms up to stretch. "Anong basic rules?"

"Know the role more, teamwork, work the stage presence, practice the style and the music which are really common to be a good member..." he shrugs and chuckles. "Above all, have fun!"

"Those are the rules?" I scoffed in amusement.

Seriously?

"I didn't know those were rules, then." He laughed. "But it depends when you're already under a management, doon na 'yong totoong rules."
