It was nice to be back, despite being the talk of the town. Taehyung let Yoongi and Madeline scold him, knowing that their harmless lecturing would just end in a big hug. And it did.

"Jeongguk said you cried," Yoongi grinned, crossing his legs.

"I didn't cry."

"You cried when you did the blood test," Madeline said.

The door opened, a certain ravenette entering.

"He's my big baby." Jeongguk skipped over to his boyfriend and patted his head, only to have his hand pushed away.

"I'm not your big baby," Taehyung huffed, grabbing his wrist and pulling the boy down on his lap. He knew exactly what he was doing when attached his lips to the ravenette's ear, making him wiggle in his grasp. "Frankly, I think it's quite the opposite."

"PDA alert," Madeline voiced.

"Hey Yoongi," Hoseok nudged him playfully, "Kiss me."

"I'm leaving the room."

All the boys laughed when Madeline stormed away, only to come back and plop down on the couch.

"Where were you?" Taehyung asked the boy on his lap, fingers skimming along his petite waist.

"I went to Jimin's room."

"You did?"

"Yeah, but can we talk about it tonight? Everything?"

"Okay."

Yoongi stared at the couple him, a peaceful smile on his face. "I'm glad you two made up."

Taehyung exhaled through his nose and acknowledged Yoongi's words by dipping his chin over the ravenette's shoulder and kissing his cheek, showing gratitude.

"I'm also glad you didn't roast in that fire. If you did, Seokjin will never live that cooked human meat joke down."

"That's dark," Madeline commented.

"That's incest," Hoseok said.

"Incest cannibalism," Madeline concluded.

"I feel very uncomfortable right now," Taehyung informed everyone, making Jeongguk giggle.

"I'll be back. I wanna get something from the vending machine." Yoongi stood.

"Wait actually, I wanna get something too." Gently, the brunette slipped Jeongguk off his lap and followed Yoongi outside the common room.

"You wanted to talk?" Yoongi asked as they turned a corner.

"How'd you know?"

"If you really wanted to just get a snack, your lazy ass would've made me get it for you."

Taehyung laughed, finding truth in that. "I was just curious about something."

"What?"

"What's happening between you and Hobi?"

Yoongi stopped fishing out his wallet. "We talked," He answered, facing the brunette, "We're not soulmates— at least from what we know. Cause Hobi keeps dreaming of pianos and all that but I haven't dreamt about anything related to him." He cleared his throat. "We talked. We were honest— yes, we like each other."

Taehyung frowned. "I sense a but coming up."

"But," Yoongi confirmed, "we decided not to actually date."

"Why?"

His friend turned to the ceiling, trying to find the best way to explain his thoughts. "Camp ends in less than a week, Tae. Hobi and I live far from each other. We both felt like it wasn't worth starting a relationship just to end it." He paused. "I still let him cuddle me, hug me, kiss my neck. But that's it."
