lost and insecure
you found me, you found me
lying on the floor
surrounded, surrounded
(you found me, by the fray)

(tw; cutting)

"hey guys!" atsumu smiled as he waved to his teammates.

he played on the inarizaki volleyball team as a third year.

his team ignored his attempt of saying hi and just moved onto practice.

atsumu sighed and after practice he walked behind osamu and suna who talked with small smiles on their faces.

'they're really made for each other'

the blonde thinks.

atsumu got home by himself since samu went to suna's place to study.

"where is your brother?" the miya twins' mom asked.

"he went to sunarin's to study," the blonde shrugged going to head upstairs.

"don't just walk past me i didn't say i was done talking to you."

"what do ya wanna talk about ma'?" atsumu asked.

"nothing now that you're giving me all that sass just go to your room," his mother said mumbling "fucking annoying" under her breath.

the blonde went upstairs and set his bag down.

he sat on his bed and looked at his phone seeing no new notifications.

'i could text omi... but he'd probably get annoyed'

the blonde often texted the spiker after school but today he decided not to.

he laid down burying himself in blankets and quickly falling asleep to the sound of the music he played quietly on his phone.

atsumu awoke a few hours later to shouting downstairs.

he figured his dad got home and his parents were fighting once again.

the blonde just covered his ears and tried to go back to sleep.

he had no luck and laid awake.

it was now dark out and the only thing illuminated in his room was a small nightlight he'd had since he was little.

looking at his phone he decided to text sakusa knowing he's probably still awake.

atsumu

sakusa
