before atsumu he'd given a letter to his brother.
"give this to him please," he'd whispered.
when osamu looked down at the envelope in small writing read
"to omi<3".
osamu sighed and nodded.
he watched his brother leave, their parents said it wouldn't do him any good if he went with them to check atsumu in.
the second the ash gray haired twin was alone he broke down calling suna, the only one left he could trust.
"samu? samu what happened?"
"c-can you come over?"
"of course."
osamu cried nearly all night in sunarin's arms.
the next day he mailed the letter.
sakusa kiyoomi didn't normally get very much mail, much less from his boyfriend who could just text him if he needed to talk.
so when his mother gave him the letter he was slightly surprised.
opening the letter it read...
dear kiyoomi,
i have to go away for a little while. it's kind of hard to explain. if you want the full story you can probably ask samu but that's aside the point. i wrote you this to tell you how much i love you. you've been with me through some pretty rough times and i'm so grateful for that. i really love you so much. if you want to move on though i don't blame you. you should find someone who can always be there. i love you omi, i always will.

kiyoomi was shocked.
"move on"?
what did atsumu mean?
where did he go?
the ace decided to call the only person who would actually give him straight answers.
"so ya got the letter huh?"
"yeah, osamu what happened?"
"let's meet up in person, ya won't believe me from over the phone."
"okay."
when kiyoomi found himself seated waiting for osamu he half expected to see atsumu walk up with him when he arrived.
he didn't though.
osamu sat across from him.
