Alexander's POV

As I was now walking through the palace after talking with Erickson, something was on my mind. Perhaps it was what I'd do with Sheele, or maybe it's how I'd deal with Wild Hunt.

I could not lie, Wild Hunt was a far bigger threat than Night Raid. When it comes to my plans at least, I need to get rid of Syura discreetly. To do that I'd need a mole within Wild Hunt and fortunately I knew the right person.

But before I could set that plan into motion, I saw Minister Honest and his son. The cocky smirk on Syura's face pissed me off, he seemed like an absolute dipshit. Well, perhaps that's because he is an absolute dipshit.

Honest: General Alexander, please join us! We were just speaking of your successes

Alexander: Were you now?

Honest: Yes, we were discussing the victory of the Death Korps yesterday. They kept the Revolutionary Army from coming up north

Alexander: "They are masters of entrenchment and attrition. It would take years of constant attack before the Revolutionary Army would be able to break through" I said walking with the two

Syura: Is that so? Why are they called that anyway? Who would even want to join an army like that?

Alexander: Those who seek repentance in death. The indoctrination of our most recent conscripts have been successful thus far

Honest: Ah yes, I heard how you got them from the Imperial Prison

Alexander: Yes, they now believe that they can pay for their crimes by fighting and dying for a cause bigger than themselves

Honest: Fine work General Alexander

I saw then saw something from the corner of my eye. Syura seemed a bit irritated after Honest said that to me. It would seem he seeks the approval of his own father. This makes tnings far more interesting.

Syura: Anyways, being the secret police is great. I'm getting a real kick out of it pops

I'm sure you are, you sadistic piece of human filth

Honest: I don't care how many innocents you kill Syura. But understand your goal is the elimination of Night Raid. They were able to kill Bolic, we must take them seriously

Syura: I know, I've already made preparations for it. Leave it to me pops! By the way, if the Revolutionary Army does somehow get to the capital what do you plan to do? My group will fight them of course-

Alexander: It won't come to that, not while I live

Honest: Even so, we need not worry. We'll just have that stubborn bastard and his royal guard come into play.....

Alexander: Are you referring to-

????: Who are you calling stubborn bastard?

The three of us turned around to see who had spoken. Sure enough, it was the Great General himself who came into view. The man who was the equal of my father in terms of skill, the highest ranked officer in the Imperial Army.
