Chapter 17- Heartfelt.....

3rd Person POV

Somewhere on an unknown island, Esdeath and Alexander have appeared on it's beach. At first Alexander questioned what had happened in his mind before realizing where they were. And by that, he had no damn clue where they were. However, he thought it was a possibility that it might be an illusion. So he decided to ask something of his lover Esdeath.

Alexander: Esdeath, if you wouldn't mind could you hit me extremely hard?

Esdeath: "Alexander, I didn't know you were into that. We really are perfect for each other~" she said with a slight blush

Alexander (thoughts): EH?!

Alexander: Th-that's not exactly what I meant love. I'm assuming we're in an illusion of some sort, perhaps some pain could snap us out of it?

Esdeath: I see, as you wish

Alexander then braced for a hit from Esdeath, but he was surprised when she suddenly kissed him. She pulled away after a short moment, even though she didn't want to.

Esdeath: It's not an illusion, our surroundings feel too real. The cool breeze blowing on the waves, the warm sunshine, everything around us is true

Alexander: Damn, then we've been transported somehow. The man used some type of Imperial Arms to teleport us

Esdeath: Yes he did, though I can only think of a handful that have the power to control space

Alexander: Another question that we should wonder, who was that guy?

Esdeath: "Yes, but before anything else let's take a look around" she said kneeling and placing her hand on the ground

A pillar of ice then sprung from the ground right beneath the two generals. They were brought up into the air, giving them a clear view of the island and surrounding ocean. Granted, Alexander was rather caught off guard when Esdeath did this.

Alexander's POV

My heart nearly sprung out of my chest as we were sent into the air. I was not expecting Esdeath to summon an ice pillar beneath us. While I tried to calm down, I took note of our surroundings.

Alexander: There's only ocean, no land in sight. Damn, we're on an island that's no where near the Empire

Esdeath: But isn't this a gorgeous view? It's starting to feel kind of like we're on a date isn't it my darling?

Alexander: "The view is rather nice, though I don't know if this would be how I started a date" I replied jokingly

Father: By the way, we need to speak later about Najenda

Esdeath: You never know what might happen when dealing with Imperial Arms. In our line of work we have to be able to adapt immediately

Alexander: Indeed, after all Imperial Arms tend to be rather unpredictable

Esdeath: "Now where were we?" she said before pulling me into a sudden hug "Right! We're on a date! Want to cuddle?" she said as I noticed a light blush on her cheeks

Father: I did not expect her to act like this, I think you're having a bigger impact on her than I had expected

Alexander: E-Esdeath, I didn't expect this from you. I don't mind-

I was cut off as something drew both of our attention in the distance. A large danger beast, similar to what Doctor Stylish became, was rising out of the water near the beach.
