Alexander's POV
I braced myself for whatever was about to happen the moment I say something. Although, I never thought I'd see Esdeath admiring flowers like this. It doesn't fit with her personality that much. Either way, I stepped forward and prepared for anything.
Alexander: I take it this is about the new danger beasts?
Run: "Alexander? Where have you-" he stopped as he saw me in my uniform
Alexander: In short the minister sent me to retake territory. Obviously I successfully did so and I've been become a general
He nodded as Esdeath stood up and approached me. Her hair was covering her eyes and I sensed large killing intent from her, causing me to sweat.
Why is she emitting so much killing intent?!
Father: Hmm, well I can't exactly bail you out on this one
Alexander: E-Esdeath what's wrong? Is it-
She cut me off as she grabbed my collar and pulled me into a fierce kiss. My eyes widened at first but I soon relaxed and kissed back. After a few seconds she pulled away and had a satisfied grin on her face.
Esdeath: Mmmm~, for now I won't punish you. But next time you must tell me where you're going and about any plans you have
Alexander: Heh, I'll make sure to do so. I believe you were discussing something with Run?
Esdeath: Yes, it's about a new species of danger beasts that has recently popped up around the capital
Alexander: Yes, me and my unit ran into a few on our way here. Short to say, the danger beasts did not survive
Esdeath: Hm, I take it you noticed their appearance?
Alexander: Yes, they looked a lot like humans in a way
Esdeath: Based off of the research conducted by Erickson and the minister they were once people
Damn, damn that mad doctor Stylish!
Run: I knew it, their physiques were so unusually human
Alexander: Someone was turning them into these...... monsters......
Esdeath: Yes, only an Imperial Arms user can manage something like that
Run: There's a distinct possibility these danger beasts could've been the doctor's experiments
Alexander: The attacks started right after his death as well
Esdeath: Do we have anymore evidence?
Run: Prior to Erickson moving into Stylish's old laboratory I went to investigate it right after his disappearance. I noticed how the place was surprisingly empty, he was almost always conducting experiments so I found it rather odd
Esdeath: So that means he must've had another secret lab somewhere right?
Alexander: No doubt, Doctor Erickson himself even told me how he knew Stylish was conducting danger beast experiments
Esdeath: I'm beginning to believe Stylish was more insane than I ever thought he was
You have no idea
Run: There should only be a limited number, eventually the problem should resolve itself
Esdeath: There's more to this than how many we're dealing with. For starters were those monsters truly capable of escaping on their own? Or should we assume that someone wanted to set them free?
