December 25th.

Not Christmas, just December 25th.

No presents.

No elaborate meal or party.

No conversations.

And no word from Draco.

Just December 25th.

"He'll be okay." My dad whispered as he nudged my arm.

"Yeah. Just the slight inconvenience of living with the Dark Lord." I said bitterly as I stabbed an egg.

"Don't call him that!" Harry snapped.

"What? The Dark Lord? That's what he is isn't it? It's not any different than you calling him Lord Voldemort." I argued.

"It is different, that's what the Death Eaters call him."

"Would you rather me call him Tom Riddle then?" I said sarcastically and Ginny grimaced.

Harry huffed and looked away.

Dad laid his hand on my shoulder and gave me a sad look.

"He's learned enough. He'll be okay (Y/n)."

"Easy for you to say." I said quietly.

"You know, you're awfully rude this morning for someone that hasn't talked to any of us since we've been here. We've been wanting to talk to you Harry." Ginny fired off.

"I didn't want anyone to talk to me in case you hadn't noticed." He fired back.

"Well that was a bit stupid of you, seeing as you don't know anyone else who's been possessed by You-Know-Who, and I can tell you how it feels." She snapped back.

Harry's face softened as he looked at Ginny.

"I forgot." He said in a soft tone.

"Lucky you." She said bitterly.

"I'm sorry." Harry said sincerely, as he gave her a look I've never seen before.

"Yes well, that's what I've been wanting to talk to you about.... can you remember everything you've done this year? There aren't any blank spots in your memory?"

"No? I don't think so?" Harry said.

"Good, you've never been possessed then. I don't know what's wrong with you Harry, but possession isn't one of them."
