Draco POV

"You're safer at home anyways, Harry. You'll thank me later. You just try to get yourself killed every year anyways." I said as I left the train cab, and Potter, behind.

I made my way up to the carriage lines, thankfully the others were still there.

(Y/n) POV

"Well, that didn't take long" I said as I smiled at Draco.

"No, as I said, I just needed a minute" he huffed.

I stared up at him as he looked up at the night sky.

His blonde hair framed around his face as the moonlight outlined his stark features.

His sharp nose, tall muscular frame.

His cold eyes, like ice when the dim light shined into them.

His eyes were the only trace of the boy he used to be when we first met, and even they seemed different.

Though I suppose, to be fair, there wasn't any trace of who I was left either. We both had changed so much.

"Here, come on."

I felt warmth around me as Draco put his jacket around my shoulders.

I stepped into the carriage as he held the door open for me, Pansy and Blaise already inside.

I laid my head on Draco's chest as he put his arm around me.

I finally felt safe.

I had walked on eggshells to pretend to be who I was supposed to be at Malfoy Manor.

I had them all fooled.

Sadly, that also included Draco.

I thought he could see through my charade, but it had become the person I was every day.

Maybe I had fooled myself too, I didn't lash out at him anymore. He tried. He tried so hard for me to fight him, on anything.

I followed Narcissa Malfoy.

It almost made me sad we would have to betray her one day.

Would he leave his mother? Would she come with us? Will she try to stop us? Thoughts that have terrified me every day.

She didn't deserve this anymore than we did.

Why did she ever marry Lucius?

"Come on." Draco said as he pulled me out of the carriage and led me through the sea of other students.

I hadn't even noticed until we were at our usual seats at the Slytherin table.
