The hours passed by pretty fast when they were all outside. Finally, whenever it was getting dark outside, Mom called all of the kids back inside. It was now the time for Conny to leave to meet her new family. Emma and Alex were actually supposed to go check to see if Conny was ready so that's what they were doing. When they ran into one of the many bedrooms looking for Conny, they found her standing there in her new clothes.

Every time that one of their siblings got adopted, they were dressed up in a brown skirt and vest with a white undershirt and a black jacket with a black hat to match. Seeing Conny in the outfit made Alex even happier for the little blonde girl. Conny had been looking forward to this day since she found out she was getting adopted.

"Conny, are you ready?" Emma asked the little girl.

Conny was inspecting the new clothes she was wearing, "What do you think? Of my new clothes." She had a small blush on her cheeks as all of their siblings were looking at her. They were all excited for her as well.

"You look amazing, Conny." Alex bent down and ruffled Conny's hair with a smile.

"Lovely!" Emma agreed, "You look great."

"Good. Thank you," Conny picked up Little Bunny and held him tightly to her chest. She started to speak to everyone now, "I'm slow. And I wasn't as good at the tests as everyone else. But when I'm an adult, I want to be a "Mother" like Mom. And I'm never going to leave my child!"

"Conny..." Emma trailed off.

She and Alex brought Conny into a hug. Alex had a small smile on her face as she said, "We're going to miss you so much. I hope you have a wonderful life with your new family." She didn't hang out with Conny as much as Don did, but the girl was still like her little sister. She was definitely going to miss her when she left.

Everyone headed to the main entrance of the house. Conny stood beside Mom and all the kids said their goodbyes to her. There were some tears, but everyone tried to keep them in so they wouldn't make Conny feel bad. She promised to write all of them letters before she left with Mom to meet her new family.

Since Mom had just left with Conny, it was time for the kids to do their chores. Emma and Alex were both placed on dining room duty. Emma had a broom in her hand while Alex had the mop and mop bucket. What the two girls didn't expect when they walked into the dining room was for Little Bunny to be sitting on one of the tables.

Emma dropped the broom in her hand from shock. She ran over and picked up the stuffed bunny, "Conny?! You forgot him! What should I do?"
