"Daddy?"

"Yes baby?"

"Is Sungie ugly?"

The little looked up at his caregiver with big glossy eyes,
tears just about to spill.

Minho gasped softly,
not really expecting such a question from his beloved adorable boyfriend who was happily babbling about his favorite cereal just minutes ago.

He reached out to cup Jisung's
jeekies with his hands,
his thumbs wandering over the soft skin with such care as he stared into his baby's sparkling chocolate eyes.

"What are you saying baby?
Why would you ask daddy such a question?"

The older's furry cat ears twitched in discomfort, something was definitely off with Jisung and he didn't like it.

"Sungie's classmates said Sungie ugly. Because of the tail and ears.

They said Sungie's a wilthy animal. Sungie doesn't even know what that means."

Jisung mumbled sadly as he escaped his boyfriend's hold and buried his face into Minho's chest,
wrapping his fluffy tail protectively around himself.

A filthy animal?

What?

The older's furry tail was flapping in anger against the cushion of the couch,
nobody speaks to his baby like this.

"Sungie baby,
look at daddy please."

Minho spoke softly,
his hand going up to run his fingers through Jisung's brown locks, intentionally scratching behind his baby's fluffy ears.

As the younger made no attempt to remove his face from Minho's chest, the latter let his hand wander from Jisung's hair over his cheek to his chin.

He carefully raised his baby's head so that Jisung was looking at him,
tears still brimming in his eyes.

"Sungie my love,
you're not ugly.

Never were,
never will be.

You're unique and that's something so special, something so beautiful.
Do you think daddy's ugly?"

"No!"

Minho chuckled softly at the little's small outburst, Jisung was really just too pure.

"I have a furry tail and furry ears too just like you my love.
And I'm not ugly so you aren't either.

You're perfect just the way you are, my little baby squirrel.
These people are just too blind to see that but that's not our problem,
isn't it?"

Minho moved his furry black tail up to caress Jisung's chubby cheekie making the boy giggle cutely at the ticklish feeling.

" And if they're mean to you again,
tell daddy, yeah?"

"Oki daddy"

The younger smiled softly making Minho coo.

He placed a soft kiss on his baby's forehead and chuckled when the younger puckered his lips,
his big sparkling eyes pleading silently.

"What do you want, baby?"

"Kissy."

"Oh you want a kissy?"

Jisung nodded,
still pouting,
his tiny hands holding onto Minho's sweater tightly.

The older could help but coo and pecked his little's chubby jeekies before he finally fulfilled Jisung's wish and connected their lips into a soft loving kiss.

As they pulled apart again,
the tiny boy blushed brightly and immediately hid his face behind his bushy squirrel tail,
the rest of his body curling up into a small ball again.

Minho just chuckled and pressed a soft kiss on top of Jisung's head that was still peeking out,
the younger was just too adorable.

"You're so beautiful Sungie."
