Seungmin sighed softly after pressing
a kiss on his tiny son's forehead.

He was so extremely cute.

Like, for real.

His pretty eyes, cute button nose,
the mole over his eyebrow.

He was so cute,
the way he slept so peacefully
with a tiny pout on his pretty face.

Such a pretty boy.

It's been barely a week since the
little boy came into the world and
to say that the birth was rough on
the brunette's body was an
understatement.

Compared to his first pregnancy,
which had been an absolute dream,
his second one had been
quite traumatic.

Seungmin's body just hadn't
been ready to grow another
child after only a year after the
birth of their first son.

And he felt so bad.

He could barely be there for
his little boy, Hyunjin had been
the one doing literally everything
the past nine months ever since
they knew about how critical
the second pregnancy was.

Seungmin had to stay in bed
most of the time, either at home
or in the hospital. 

Yes, their second son was
a blessing, a gift, a wonder.

Especially after the
emergency c-section.

But now that he was here,
his mommy fell into a way of
mental unconsciousness. 

"Minnie?"

Hyunjin frowned,
finding his husband sitting
on their bed, his beautiful
eyes so empty.

He wasn't dense,
he knew that the younger
wasn't doing well.

But everything he tried to
help led to nothing.

Nothing at all.

'I'm fine Jinnie,
I'll go check up on Jae'

was the reply he always got before
Seungmin left to go to their baby.

"Hm?"

It hurt so much,
he couldn't stand seeing
that forced smile.

He couldn't stand seeing his love
trying to hide his pain from him.

Hyunjin knelt down in front of
his husband and carefully took
the younger's hands in his,
placing soft kisses on their backs.

"You're so beautiful, Minnie."

His voice was barely a whisper
but still it reached the other's
ears clearly.

"I need to- Jae.."

"No love, Jae is sleeping.
He's sleeping so peacefully, see?
Right there"

The older motioned with his
eyes towards the white bassinet
on the other side of their bed
where their little boy was in
a deep slumber.

Cute.

"Listen to me, pup.
You are beautiful.
In my eyes you're the
prettiest person in this
universe, okay?

I know you're struggling,
I know that these past months
really took a toll on you.
But I'm so proud of you, hm?"

It didn't go unnoticed by Hyunjin
how his husband's eyes became
glossy as he tried to pull his hands
out of the other's grasp.

He wanted to hide.

"Angel."

The older's sad eyes when Seungmin
fumbled with the hem of his sweater,
pulling it down desperately even
though there wasn't even anything
to see, it hurt the younger.

"Can I?
Please?"

Those sad puppy eyes,
full of tears.

So much pain.

A small whimper escaped
the brunette but he still let his
husband take his sweater off,
so carefully as if he was undressing
a porcelain doll.

Sparkling tears rolled down
the younger's pale cheeks when
Hyunjin cupped his face and let
their foreheads touch.

"Minnie.
My beautiful angel.
You don't have to hide."

"I- I'm so ugly, my body.."

"No love, no."

Seungmin flinched when his
husband pushed him down on
the bed but calmed when the
ravenette intertwined their hands.

He knew that this wasn't about
sex or anything, their little boy
was still in the room after all.

"I love you and I love your body.
I'm so thankful to your
wonderful body, Minnie.

Hyunjin placed a soft kiss on
the bandage that hid the huge
wound of the c-section.

"I'm thankful that it grew
our two precious babies.

I'm thankful that it took
such good care of them."

Gentle kisses on the angry
red stretch marks.

Loving pecks on the chubby
skin that hasn't gone back to
its normal shape after carrying
two children until they had
been ready to meet the world.

"I'm thankful that it gave milk to
Giwook and still gives milk to Jae."

Hyunjin traced his nose over his
husband's swollen chest before
he kissed them as well, his hands
never letting go of Seungmin's.

"You are so beautiful.
A mommy of two wonderful babies
and the fact that you carried them,
gave birth to them, endured all those
physical and emotional pains makes
you so strong and pretty, okay?"

A soft kiss on the brunette's lips.

"I hope you'll be able to see that too."
