CHAPTER 8

SUNGKYU'S POV

I went home earlier than I've planned to cause I'm too tired of our mission last night. I went inside our house and it was quiet.

"Namkyu are you home?" I said but no one was answering maybe she's still in the office right now.

So after I change my clothes I went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Namkyu will be home soon. I was too busy cooking dinner when I heard the front door opened.

"Namkyu you're ho----- Hyung you're earlier than usual"

"Do you have something to tell me?" He asked me

"Yeah about that, I don't know if you heard but Namkyu was under my team and she's doing well" I said.

"And?"

"She had her first mission with us last night and she did very well" I smiled.

"You surely have no idea, huh" Namgil said sitting on the dining table.

"Did something happened? But Seungwoo was looking after her" I respond.

"She got harass yesterday because you force her to do something"

"But she told me that it's okay to do it so I didn't force her"

"Of course she'll tell you she's okay with it since it was her first mission and I'm sure she wanted to impress you. But look at what you did, she got harassed by some random guy" Namgil said.

Wait? What she got harassed? I didn't heard something from her since yesterday. I didn't even come to the office this morning to check them out cause I'm taking care of our client.

"Don't tell me you didn't check on her? You should be taking care of her since you're their team leader" He scolded me.

"I also have a job, I shouldn't be looking after her when we're on job I mean yes she's my little sister but I just can't ignore my client. As you said I'm their team leader so I should be the one finishing off the job. I sent them earlier than we planned back to our office and I have Seungwoo to check on her" I said. Then the front door opened once again.

NAMKYU'S POV

I opened the door and heard Sungkyu and Namgil fighting. This might be my fault, they shouldn't be fighting.

"I'm home" I greeted them trying to wipe away the tension between them.

"Namkyu" Sungkyu called me.

"What happened to your hair?" Namgil asked me.

"It looks nice right?" I smiled at them.

"You look really good with your long hair why did you cut it?" Sungkyu asked

"Yeah that's why I cut it off" I respond. "Hey do I look bad with short hair?" I asked.

"It's not like that. You look really good in that boy cut" Namgil said.

"You look really cool with that hairstyle" Sungkyu added. "And yeah is there something you need to talk about?"

"No thanks, I don't want to remember it" I smile at both of them. Then the front door opened again.

"You didn't tell me you guys will be home early and you even have a visitor" Wonshik said as he took off his shoes before heading in making his way to his bedroom.

"You should greet Namkyu" Namgil said.

"Where in her room?" Wonshik asked looking back at us.

"Here" Sungkyu said.

"You came home early today" I said smiling at him while waving my hand.

"Woah, you look cool with that hairstyle" Wonshik smiled rushing towards me ruffling my hair. Before sitting on the dining table across Namgil.

Then there's Sungkyu getting the table ready. As soon as he finished he sat beside Namgil. It made me cry.

"Namkyu sit here with us" Wonshik told me tapping the chair beside him.

"Why are you crying?" Namgil asked me. They're about to stand up to approach me but I wipe off my tears

"It's just that, it's been a while since we eat like this" I said as I made my way to seat beside Wonshik.

After we finished eating, Namgil and Wonshik went to their room while Sungkyu and I stayed at the living room.

"Oppa I might leave the team" I said.

"Wait what?"

"I had a talk with Mr. Chae and I've made my decision" I said.

"Why didn't you asked about this?"

"I've already made my decision. I haven't told anyone about it and it's just me and Mr. Chae knows about this. I know this is a selfish decision but I think this will be the best for me" I explained.

"You sure you'll be okay with it?"

"Yeah, after what happened last night. I don't think I still can do my job without thinking of it. Don't worry I'll still come to the office sometimes" I said.

"I'm sure Namgil will be against this" Sungkyu said giving me a serious look

"Yes, that's why I made a decision without consulting to you especially Namgil oppa. I pretty sure he'll be against this"

"Namkyu, you're old enough to make your decision and I'll trust you with this one. But if you need help don't hesitate to call me huh? Even if I'm really busy if it's urgent I'll come to you" Sungkyu said holding me by my shoulder with both of his hands.

"Thank you" I smiled at him before giving him a tight hug.

"You just have a hard time last night" he whispered caressing the back of my head.

After having a long discussion with Sungkyu. I head back to my room still thinking if I made the right decision. I change into my PJs before heading to bed.

"Yeongie hide here for a moment" A woman said putting a little girl inside the closet. "Don't come out unless it's ahjusshi. You know ahjusshi right?" She said.

Then a guy came running to her beating her up till she lose her conscious.

"Damn, they said we need the mother and daughter why kill the mother?" Another guy said.

"She's trying to fight back" the other guy defended.

"Then let's just take the daughter, I'm sure boss will also be fine if he have the daughter" the guy said.

Then the two guys started searching around the room. Until one guy reached the closet.

"I found the daughter" the guy said making the other guy come. They both took the daughter, tying both of her arms and legs. They also covered the little girl's eyes and tape her mouth.

"You shut up you piece of shit" One of the guy said as he put the little girl in the trunk of the car.

The little girl tried to shout making the other guy annoyed and hit her on her face.

"Annoying brat, take care of her" The guy said leaving the other guy behind.

"Listen you little princess, girl or what so ever you have to stay here and keep quiet of I'll cut your throat" He said but before he even close the trunk he was kicked by some guy.

I opened my eyes pushing myself up from my bed making me sit up. I was sweating and panting.

"That nightmare again" I whispered to myself. Who are they? They keep on appearing in my dream.
