"What's this?" Questioned Emma as she grabbed onto the metal bars in front of her.
"It's a gate. It connects to the outside." Ray responded.
"Outside, huh? We've never been outside." Emma said.
"Yeah." Norman agreed.
"That's because we've been here since we were born. And unfortunately, I've made it so far." Spoke Y/n with an annoyed expression.

"You're only 5 years old, idiot." Ray said.
"Anyways, Mama always tells us, doesn't she? 'Don't go near the gate or fence in the back of the forest because it's dangerous.' " Emma quoted.
"That's obviously a lie." Ray said as he looked through the metal bars and into the darkness of the tunnel.
"Really?" Emma asked before turning to Ray and saying, "Hey Ray! What do you want to do outside?"
Ray looked at her before staring ahead and replying, "I don't know. What about you?"
Emma wore a huge grin and responded, "I want to ride a giraffe!"
Ray deadpanned and said, "Good luck."
Norman smiled at them before returning his attention to the gate and reaching out, holding on to the bars as he looked at the darkness of the tunnel.
"I wonder what the gate is protecting us from." Norman said.
The four kids stared into the darkness of the gate's tunnel in silence, many unanswered questions flowing through their heads.

Time Skip: Years later: October 12, 2045
The early sunlight shone through the windows of the silent house where only the clicking sounds of the old clock were heard. Then, a ringing was heard throughout the house, indicating the beginning of a new day.
Sitting up and throwing the blankets off of her, Emma happily announced to the others in the room, "Good morning, everyone! Time to get up or you'll miss breakfast!"
The kids yawned and stretched as they got up, a few of them already running around, playing, and getting ready for the day.
Well, everyone but a brunette who had gotten up earlier and is in the dining hall doing a handstand in hopes that his arms eventually give out and he hits his head, somehow resulting in his death.
Throughout his years in the house, none of his plans have worked and it was obvious that he was getting desperate that it led him to doing idiotic activities that left him in pain instead of on death's door.
