If only burning people alive were legal.

I walked through the halls to the cafeteria after having read more on Leah's diary. The way she wrote about Adam made me sick.

She actually thought she knew him. She thought she knew him better than me! Me, for god's sake! It made my blood boil. This girl knew nothing about me yet her whole fucking diary was full of trash talk about Adam and I's relationship and how much of a jealous bitch I was. Then she went on to fantasise about becoming Mrs Reeves. As if.

I came to the entrance to spot Rya standing in line for the new burrito stand they put in. She nodded towards Adam's table where him and Leah sat as a signal to make my move.

I calmly walked over, swaying my hips, ignoring all the stares. They could stare later, but right now I had a mission.

'Tripping over my heel' I stumbled forward and landed straight on Adam's lap. "Sorry!" I quickly apologised. "The floor's really slippery today." Adam didn't seem to mind as he replied,

"That's okay. Are you alright?" the look on Leah's face was one of dismay that made my inner devil jump with glee.

"Yeah, you know. Clumsy old me." I tried to not cringe at what I just said. I looked over at Leah and spotted the glinting gold necklace. Here was my chance.

"OMG, Leah, I love your necklace!" I pretended to be a little other enthusiastic in order to get everyone's attention. "It matches mine." I pulled out the gold necklace Adam got me years ago from under my top. Adam went so pale as if he had seen a ghost.

Leah looked back at Adam's obviously uncomfortable expression, unable to connect the dots yet. "Adam got me this for Valentine's day one year. What was it you said?" I turned to Adam with a fake thinking face. "Oh yeah, you told me how you've never felt this way about anyone else. It was such a sweet way to prove it to me." He never said that. He actually said, 'Happy Valentine's Day', boring, I know. But how would Leah know that, hmm?

Leah's expression was one of hurt astonishment. Bingo bitch. "Oh no, he didn't say the same thing to you, did he?" I faked a sympathetic look. Oh, this was so much fun. "You're so unoriginal, Adam." I tutted and turned back to him. "Anyways, see ya." I winked before hopping off his lap and walking over to Rya who now sat at our table with her burrito. I noticed how the rest of the girls on our table watched. They always watched whenever I did something entertaining, it was like a minion way of showing support I guess you could call it.

I sat down and watched the mini argument unfold between Adam and Leah, he reached out for her arm, but she pushed him off and ran away. Adam cursed and chased after her whilst everyone burst out into laughter.

"You got her good." Rya laughed beside me. "But what's the bet she's doing it all for dramatic effect?"

I looked at her with a wicked smile, "Don't know, but stage one of ruining Leah Kingston is... Check. Point." I subtly held my hand out and Rya high-fived.

"Sienna!" I turned to stand in the doorway of the Chemistry classroom. I was hoping to make a quick escape just all the other students, but I guess Mrs Sanders had other plans. "I wanted to talk to you for a second."

I walked back in and stood by Mrs Sanders' desk as she began collecting worksheets of the students' desks.

"Yes?" I waited patiently even though I wanted to run out of the classroom and to my car like my life depended on it.
