Eleven! Eleven, baby! I tried to hold back my squeal as Roman handed me the test paper he made me do half an hour ago. 11/20, it read. That was over halfway! Yes!

"I take it you've been doing your biology homework." He said as I smiled widely at the score.

"Yeah." I replied. "I mean, it's still one of the most boring things in my life."

"But you're doing it."

I shrugged and happily folded the paper before putting it into my bag. This was the first session he was tutoring me in again and I was so happy. Your girl was getting back on track. Roman seemed to have more of a kick in his step this morning too and I couldn't help but wonder why. Maybe he was still running on the high of getting a blowjob last Friday, or maybe there was something else.

"I have something for you." I quickly remembered and reached into my back. I pulled out the papers and hid them to my chest, so it didn't ruin the surprise.

"What?" Roman narrowed his eyes but a smile still played on his lips. I handed him the paper and his mouth practically gaped.

It was my History essay I handed in last week. And on the top was a 'C'. A freaking C! It was a pass!

"No way." He chuckled stunned.

"Yes way." I grinned. "I got a C!" I was on Cloud 9 when Mr Dennis handed my mark back, I showed Rya, and we went out for celebratory coffee. God, it felt so good to pass.

"Well damn." He blew out a long breath, "I guess this is what happens when you focus a bit more."

"It certainly is." I couldn't make my smile go away. God, I was so happy. "You proud of me?" I couldn't help but ask.

Roman handed the papers back and nodded, "Very." He smiled. He was proud of me. I felt so giddy as he said the word.

"So," he changed the subject. "Are you working at the hospital tonight?" I told Roman all about the Leah fiasco and Principal Cunningham, he wasn't necessarily okay with what I did but he was surprised when I told him how I saved Rya's ass. Why would he be surprised? Rya had worked so hard for Valedictorian, so why would I let Principal Cunningham pettily snatch it away so easily?

Nonetheless, I expressed my distaste for having to do 'community service' at the hospital. So far, I had no idea what I was doing and if I had to clean up sick and piss from the bedsheets, I was going to throw a fit.

"Unfortunately." I sighed.

Roman gave a sympathetic smile but I knew he was glad I got punishment for what I did. What a goody-two-shoes he was.

"D'you know what floor you're working at?" he then questioned.

I tilted my head to the side and replied, "No, why?"

"No reason." He brushed it away. "Good luck though."

I rolled my eyes, "Thanks."

School was only more of a drag knowing I had somewhere else I was dreading to be afterwards. I gave myself a mini pep talk before I got out of my car and made my way to the hospital. I prayed to God I didn't see vanilla stick. Watching her sick, innocent smile as I moped the floors would test my patience of clawing her eyes out.

Walking up to the front desk, I was met with a woman with bouncy, cherry-red, hair and think rimmed glasses with tiny pictures of cats on them. Urgh, just great.
