"Your father is worried about you. He asked you to go home," says Toda.

Chad is working as a waiter in his favorite Cafe.

His best friend is trying to coax him to come home.

"I've been eaten clean by him. We did the deeds again and again. Completely thorough. Beside him, I don't need another Alpha."

Toda looks disgusted when he comments, "Spare the details, please. I'm not interested in your sex life."

Chad sighs.

He asks, "Do you want to order or not?"

Toda orders, "A cup of black coffee..."

"No sugar or cream," adds a black haired Omega.

He looks like a serious bookworm in stylish outfits. His black rimmed eyeglasses gives him a nerdy boy look.

Toda is silent when he recognizes him.

Ryan Reese approaches his table and sits next to him.

He orders, "One cup of hot chocolate and cheese cake for me. Two ham sandwiches for him. That would be all."

Chad frowns. He has never seen Ryan like this. He is always dressed up like an idol since they're still little boys. Eye-catching style.

Chad asks, "Ryan, what happened?"

"Well, someone broke my heart. He kept asking for my sincerety. This is all I could do for him. This is my blinders."

He is saying those words to Toda while staring to his eyes.

Blinders are usually used for horses to prevent seeing sides.

In short, it means he vows only to look at one Alpha, Toda.

Toda only says coolly, "Well, prove it with your actions."

"Sure. Just give me a chance first."

"Okay."

Ryan smirks.

Toda looks another way. His ears reddened. He has no immunity against this Omega lethal smile.

Chad delivers their order and leaves the lovebirds in their own rainbow world.

He feels a bit lonely.

Shane hasn't come to work today. He is trying his luck by working at a construction site.

Bigger salary than working in a Cafe.

Shane is working hard to earn more money for them. To show his sincerety to Chad's father.

"Dumbass. I don't care if father dumped me. Just don't work too hard."

Chad kept grumbling while working.

*****

A tap to his shoulder nearly makes Shane falls forward.

"Nice work, newbie. We finished the deadline in time. Boss said all of us got bonus," announces their supervisor.

The workers cheer for the bonus.

Shane smirks. Finally his hard work paid off. He could breath more ease.

Most of the workers here are Betas. There are few Alphas like himself.

A Beta guy doesn't look happy when he hears about the bonus. It's too late. He has been kicked out from his apartment. His landlady has found a better tenant.

Life ain't easy for construction workers like him. Hard work. Low payment.

Shane asks, "Jeff, you are still here? Everyone else has gone home."
